I think in general Lalique is underappreciated as a fragrance house - given that their colognes are both high quality and usually on the more affordable side
Agreed. I think a lot of it might be because most of their frags don’t have a lot of mainstream appeal. Encre Noire is a great example of that. It really is a masterpiece, but is absolutely not for everyone. Despite the low price I’d probably never recommend it as a blind buy.
