I've never heard of anyone doing anything other than bowl lather with them. Or at least squish it into a bowl to load from.

If it's creamy enough you might be able to scoop some it and spread it on your face, but I've never tried it myself and I've never seen anybody else do it. It's science time after the solesoaping!

@Dragonsbeard was kind and generous enough to send me a Gibbs razor to test drive. Not sure of which model it is and what the differences are. He included a brass handle to try also which takes away from the Gibbs head heaviness it's known for. Judging by where he has the setting after installing a blade for me I think he's overly optimistic of how aggressive I like my razors ;) Thanks Frank. Will try it starting tomorrow. Not sure what day I may get it on video yet.

5 LAME blade... I can see why they didn't catch on.
 
My re-PIF box of shaving goodies arrived today. A HUGE Thank You to @GearNoir for doing this re-PIF. As I was going through the huge box, I started noticing new things in the box like the Vito’s Extra Super (which has a really nice cherry scent), the CBL Pineapple, a brown brush, a butterscotch brush, and the unlabeled mystery puck. I am really looking forward to trying out all of the items. This is an amazing group of shavers!

Glad everything made it safely. The mystery puck is Tabac...because in a land of artisan soaps everyone should try it at least once, to know what a classic soap can be! The missus just hates the scent, I’m impartial; it’s all about the performance for me with that one.

That is great. I have often wondered what Tabac smelled like and how it performs. I will have to lather that one up soon and check it out. Thanks again.
