What’s new to you?

Sweet calendar! We have a 8” dob, but haven’t been using it lately. I need to change that.
I sold my telescope... it wasn’t what I really wanted, but I do miss using it. Would love to be able to afford a nice big one. I have pretty dark skies at my house. But I just get by with my binoculars for the time being.

A little mail call from a gift card useage. I know Zippos aren’t the “best” but I like the nostalgia!

I have 2 (I think) Zippo pipe lighters. They work just fine. Most of the time I used a regular one though to be honest. Wooden matches don't give you the "flavor" of the lighter fluid, but I always (mostly) smoked Captain Black and really never noticed it. I did make a habit of using matches for cigars though. I could notice a slight difference there.

We scored ours dirt cheap on craigslist. Student going off to college and was cleaning house. It’s not fancy, you have to identify and track manually. One of those Intelli-scopes would be awesome.

But we’ve had fun with it. Our skies are decent outside of town. And with Star Chart on my phone I’m learning as I go.

My Paladin McInroy Legacy 28 mm Polo 2XL Phantasia arrived (a bit later than I eveyone else because I used a shipping service to ship it to where I live in europe)

So I did some stuff and ended up with some stuff.

I called dibs on a Wolf Whiskers A+ second on Facebook, which turned out to be exactly A+, one little "defect" is noticable, but that doesn't matter. My first Wolf Whiskers brush.

(I can't capture the beauty because I suck so taking pictures, so I'm using screenshots of Peter's pictures.)

And I bought a soap from an artisan I've never heard of...that apparently doesn't use waterproof labels, but I don't really care. It is definitely mentholated because that's the first thing I smell. Then there's cedar and a little bit of tangerine, not a trace of fir to my nose. I'll try it out when I'm done 3017ing.

What a great looking brush. That blue swirl really pops.
