What’s new to you?

It’s easier than you think. Dave in KY was super hesitant at first, with the same reservations you have, and now he’s one of our most prolific VLOGers.
Just for clarity my inexperience was with the technology aspects of doing a video and uploading. Been traditional shaving since @2009 and I think hat is what @Shavin’ Yeti is talking about.

Don't talk - just intro the products, shave, and then talk about products at end. Heck, I have even posted some silent shaves:
That is a great idea. Thanks. What type of equipment/camera mount are you using for your different views?

Also congratulations on being subscriber #1 to my “channel”. If I do start Vlogging, I will create an entirely new channel with my Cadre name to reduce confusion.

You ever tried the Meissner Strong 'n Scottish soap or AS? I haven't, but want to. "Masculine, hardy, and incredibly intense. Richly genuine Scottish whiskey, pure lanolin, and a unique, smoky fragrance inspired by burnt oakwood."
I have never even heard of it, but it is now on my radar. Thanks for the suggestion.

I love Sangre de Drago.
2 questions: What part of this did you buy at Marshall's and how is The Dude and Figaro?
I found the Muhle, Maca root cream, The Proraso Splash and the brush at Marshall’s. The brush came with the cream in a little gift box.
The Dude to my nose smells like a burnt weed with a base of white Russian. The Figaro has a light citrus scent to it. I haven’t shaved with them yet to gauge performance.
If you’d like to sample some, shoot me a PM with your address and I’ll send some your way.

Late posting these but here they are anyway.

I mentioned in a thread that I was interested in a razor, so that @Dave in KY guy being the way that he is sent me one with a cool 300 win mag cartridge handle! Also being the kind of guy he is, he topped off that great act of kindness by kicking himself back down to enabler mode by including a tuck of blades.
Now I am going to have to go on a blade hunt because they deserve the praise they have been getting.

Also new, I bought some vintage William's from @Spider because this stuff is great and I didn't have enough backup.
Also to keep @Cvargo from kicking me off the site and out of the club because he thinks I dont have enough soap already....😜

So the Wizamets agreed with your tough beard? Good !!

The Simpson Persian Jar 2 came yesterday and I had a chance to use it last night. It was my first experience with a Simpson and it was quite the nice experience. Super soft tips but not floppy at all. Can’t see myself picking up my 2 band Yaqi after using this thing.

My day-to-day recording equipment is just my iPhone 7 Plus mounted on https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07LCFYCM1 and stuck to my bathroom mirror. However, on that shave, I may have used our DSLR on a tripod and a Blue Yeti mic because I wanted better quality. But that is too much trouble (particularly in a small bathroom), so I just use my iPhone and the mount.
