What’s new to you?

On Black Friday I ordered a tub of Murphy McNeil Naid soap. It was the old formula, but it was a special black Friday sale and the scent sounded great.

I received it and noticed after it warmed up that there was something wrong with this soap... It had a good amount of liquid on top and little chunks in it.

I reached out to Murphy and McNeil who suggested I stir it and let it sit. I did such and tried to shave with it the next day. It worked pretty well, but there were still bits of hard soap (?). Shortly thereafter I tried again. No matter how much I whipped the lather, I could not break down those little bits.

I reached out to them again, and on Saturday they mailed me a new dish of their new formula of this soap. On top of that, they must have rush delivered it, because it arrived today.

I think I already posted about receiving the original tub of soap, and loving the scent. However, I'd feel remiss if I didn't share how impressed I am with this customer service. It's absolutely amazing. What's even more amazing, is this is so much more commonplace in the shave market than anywhere else I can recall. We really are blessed with so many good vendors, manufacturers, etc. [emoji846]

A little bit of PIF mail call and a few things I stumbled upon at Marshals. I was excited to see the generous package in the mail box after work today from @gvw755. The Kamisori didn’t make it into the picture some how and that it what I am most excited about.
I couldn’t pass up the Proraso splash for $2 and the R89 was discounted an extra 5 bucks so along they came.F3B72A39-5C33-4577-98B8-CAA024524483.jpeg

Well I received the Chiseled Face Natural AS and the Blackship Classic soap. The AS has potential. I am looking forward to trying this.

Unfortunately, the Blackship Classic smells like moldy wet cardboard. It's going right into the bin. No wonder it was discounted, lol. Live and learn, I suppose.
