Had to hurry as I woke up later than expected (which actually means with my alarm but when I'm on nights I often wake earlier). Grabbed the jectah again and felt like a good day for Lime. Overall a great shave was had.

Things are finally settling down at work tonight. Still going to be a busy night but it's less overall crazy now

Long post warning!

Ok folks we made it home from the trip late Saturday night and every time I sat down to post I ended up having something else I needed to do.

So started out with a shave to get me through the weekend since we were going to have an early start every day.

After that we hit the road. When we got to the hotel I think they thought @Spider was coming cause the locked down the soaps

The next day we got up early and hit the breakfast buffet before going to watch the shootout show just before getting on the train to the canyon.

The train ride was really nice. They had a guy that came in for about 20 min to play music and the views were pretty nice but I forgot to get pictures while on the train. Something about kids climbing all over us so they could see lol. It was about a 2 hr ride.
This was my first time to see the grand canyon and I was not disappointed. It really is an amazing site.

We only did the day trip so we had enough time to walk the rim through the village and have lunch before heading back to the train.

The ride back was about the same as the ride out except we got boarded by "bandits" and robbed. Kids had fun with that.

After we got back we walked through the gift shop which had the kind of stuff you would expect plus a lot of native American textiles and pottery you could buy but I found one cabinet that I figured @Blade-meister would like to see.

Many of the handles looked kinda impractical to me but look nice as a display piece.

It was a really cool park and you get to drive through as many times as you like once your in.

After that we hit the road and headed toward home. We decided to stop for dinner in Phoenix at a place called Organ Stop Pizza. It's a really cool place with decent pizza but the dining area has a gigantic pipe Organ built into the wall and several other instruments that are all controlled by the 1 person playing the organ. They also play everything by request in 15-20 minute sets and you can request just about anything. We sat through 2 sets and heard several Disney songs, a starwars medley, several songs from musicals like cats and phantom of the opera, and even Bohemian Rhapsody.

Yesterday was spent relaxing and taking care of stuff around the house but I did end up picking up some ugly steaks to grill up for dinner.
