There and Back Again, A Wet-Shaver's Tale

Many thanks for the posts, guys. Still alive, but have been sick the last few days with a pretty unpleasant bug. I hope everyone is doing well.

Sorry to hear that you've been dealing with that, Eric. Get better soon, and have a great Memorial Day!

Bummer! Hope you get better soon!

Hope you are feeling better Eric!
Caught up on your great mail call, Eric! Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks guys! Doing a lot better now, and even managed to post in a few other journals today lol. I'd like to say I got caught up in them, but finding time to do that is not going to be in the cards for a while, so I just started with the most recent shave in hopes that I'll be able to keep up now. Got a couple of very nice Mail Call's, and I'll try to get pics up tomorrow. Spent most of the day in The Dungeon, and it was delightfully relaxing.

The vacation is scheduled for the third week of June, and I can't wait. I'll be putting the phone down for a week, and the folks at work will be under strict instruction to not call unless the place has been razed to the ground.

There was snow on the ground a little over a month ago, and it was over 90 two days this week. Gotta love Michigan. Thanks for reading and have a great evening!

My mother grew up in Cheboygan. I love northern Michigan! It's a beautiful state. Enjoy the fishing.

My dad was born and raised in Cheyboygan. I have only been there a couple of times and just as a kid. I remember seeing the Fourth of July Fireworks over the Lakes. I am ashamed to say...that I have never been across the Mackinac Bridge nor have I ever been to Mackinac Island.

Mackinac Island is a pretty cool place, though the bridge can be terrifying during the right weather conditions lol. Cheboygan is pretty close to the family I've got up there. They live in a little town called Wolverine.
