Williams Mug Soap Challenge: Day 12

Great shave this morning. Incredible lather built with the Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "Peregrino" synth for three passes with the '58 Gillette Super Speed, and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by Mennen "Skin Bracer" aftershave lotion, a dusting of Clubman talc and vintage Avon "Deep Woods" EdP.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: More rain today but damn, I smell good!! :cool:

Phenomenal shave this morning. Super thick and slick lather built with the Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "Cyclotrode X" synth for three passes with the '58 Gillette Super Speed, and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by Pinaud "Clubman" aftershave lotion, talc and Dana "Canoe" EdT.

I saw them in the early 1980s. I won’t go into details because I mentioned that once before, but I left there very impressed. A lot of music from just three band members. Great energy from the stage. 👍👍

Great shave this morning. Fantastic lather built with the Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "Peregrino" synth for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '58 Gillette Super Speed, and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by vintage Pierre Cardin Pour Monsieur aftershave lotion, a dusting of Clubman talc and vintage Pierre Cardin Pour Monsieur EdC.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Woke up late this morning so only two passes today. Had set out my Valentine's Day gift for Crystal last night before I went to bed so she'd see it when she woke up this morning. There was a Mylar balloon on one of those weighted bases that came off at some point during the night and began moving around the house, propelled by the air from the vents after the heat pump kicked on (got down to 24° last night). Well, Max saw it and went apeshit. You'd have thought someone was there to kill us all. :rolleyes:

Great shave this morning. Synth brushes are still doing a superb job creating a thick and slick lather, this time using the T.G. Shave Co. synth. Three passes with the '58 Gillette Super Speed, and I finished with a splash of Thayers Cucumber witch hazel, followed by Floris "No.89" aftershave lotion, a dusting of vintage Palmolive aftershave talc and Floris "No.89" EdT.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Storms moving in later this evening and overnight. Local news channel says it could get bad. Hate these night storms. :oops:

Another great shave this morning. Fantastic lather built with the Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "The Starcraft" synth for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '58 Gillette Super Speed, and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by Williams "Aqua Velva" aftershave lotion, a dusting of vintage Williams Aqua Velva talc and Rogue Perfumery "Fougère a L'Aube" EdT.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Catastrophe struck this morning at the Happy Hogan household, as the container for my Williams soap, the vintage Seaforth mug, was reduced to shards from a fall off the counter onto the only part of the bathroom floor not covered with a rug. Perhaps it was the ghost of J.B. Williams reaching out from beyond the grave, irked with my choice of soap receptacle. It's okay though. Think I have something he'll be pleased with.

One of the best shaves since I started the challenge this morning. Phenomenally thick and slick lather built with the Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "The Solar Flare" synth for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '58 Gillette Super Speed, and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by Clubman "Virgin Island Bay Rum" aftershave lotion, Clubman talc and Murray and Lanman "Florida Water".

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: A little cap of snow on the ground this morning. Pretty but will likely be gone by the end of the day. Gonna be bone-chillingly cold tomorrow. Wind chill forecast 5° to as low as -5°. 🥶
