Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Going with one today featuring a trio out of Stockholm, Sweden. All graduates of the Royal College of Music, here is Dirty Loops. Hope you enjoy.

Williams Mug Soap Challenge: Day 21

What can I say? Still getting superb shaves from both the Williams soap and Wizamet blade. Great lather built with the RazoRock "Hive 24" synth for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '58 Gillette Super Speed, and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by Clubman Reserve "Cognac Neat" aftershave lotion, talc and Tom Ford "Tom Ford for Men" EdT.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Supposed to be a little warmer today. I'll be glad when Spring gets here!

Hope you have a great day. :)

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

It's "Synthwave Saturday" so here's a live stream. Hope you enjoy.

Williams Mug Soap Challenge: Day 22

Fantastic shave this morning. Great lather built with the Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "The Peregrino" synth for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '58 Gillette Super Speed, and I finished with a splash of Thayers Cucumber witch hazel, followed by Antonio Puig "Agua Lavanda" EdC. I've had it a while, but today was the first use of the Agua Lavanda. Lightly scent but what there is smells great! A nice soapy, woody-green lavender.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Not feeling all that great today. Didn't sleep well last night and woke feeling more tired than when I went to bed.

Hope you have a great day. :)

Williams Mug Soap Challenge: Day 23

Fantastic shave this morning. Great lather built with the Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "Cyclotrode X" synth for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '58 Gillette Super Speed, and I finished with a splash of Thayers Cucumber witch hazel, followed by Pitralon "Pitralon Classic" aftershave splash, a dusting of Clubman talc and Geo. F. Trumper "Wild Fern" EdC.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Better night's rest so feeling a lot better today. First time I could actually detect some tugging with this blade. Still, great results.

Hope you have a great day. :)

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Today I'm going with a couple of live cuts from the band Puscifer, which features the duo of Maynard James Keenan (singer for Tool) and English singer-songwriter Carina Round. Hope you enjoy.

Williams Mug Soap Challenge: Day 26

Great shave this morning. Wonderful lather built with the RazoRock 400 SE synth for three passes (plus touch-up) with the '58 Gillette Super Speed, and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by Dana "English Leather" aftershave lotion, a dusting of Cussons "Imperial Leather" talc and Dana "English Leather" EdC.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: The haircut saga continues. Was gonna go last night and remembered I had practice with the country band. Think I'll just wait until the weekend and go. In the final days of the "Williams" and "One Blade" challenges. It's been eye-opening with the Williams soap. The older stuff is heads and shoulders above the latter pucks. @BarberDave mentioned in one of his Williams shave vids that the more water you apply, the slicker the lather gets. I actually tried to break the lather this morning, adding more and more water a little at a time and couldn't do it. Now, to be fair I didn't use an exorbitant amount, but I did use a lot more than normal. Just fantastic! There was so much residual slickness that I didn't have to re-lather for the third pass. As I said, it's been fun and I will continue to use this soap throughout the year, but beginning Saturday I'm going to start using other soaps/creams again.

Hope you have a great day. :)

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Going with a couple today from international progressive rock supergroup, O.R.k. Hope you enjoy.

Williams Mug Soap Challenge: Day 27

Possibly the best shave of the entire month this morning! Simply incredible lather built with the Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "The Peregrino" synth for three passes (plus touch-up) with the '58 Gillette Super Speed, and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by vintage Williams Aqua Velva "Frost Lime" aftershave lotion, a dusting of vintage Williams "Aqua Velva" talc and Mancera "Cedrat Boise" EdP.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Wow! As stated above, phenomenal shave this morning! I know I had said beginning Saturday I'd start incorporating other soaps/creams back into my routine, but after today's shave, I'm seriously reconsidering that statement. Practically zero feedback from the alum. I'm also surprised at the great shaves I'm still getting with the Wizamet blade.

Hope you have a great day. :)

Be careful, that’s how they lure you into the trap. Next thing you know, you’ll have flecks of blade rust in your razor rash! 😱
