Yep, you look better than the shaggy mess I have now
I was also thinking of shaving my head for the time being.

Pretty good shave this evening. I loaded waaaaay too much soap into the brush and it took forever to dial in, but the lather was fantastic in the end. I didn't have near as much stubble at the start of the shave as I usually do so I skipped using the DE for the first pass. Two passes with the straight and a cleanup with the Yates left me near BBS. Tomorrow I’ll start module 101 of the straight razor shaving tutorial.

Started module 101 of the straight razor tutorial tonight. The ATG passes weren’t the most comfortable. It felt a bit rough and got a few small weepers under the chin that sealed up with some cold water. Manipulating the razor in the opposite direction is going to take some work but I’m being positive that I’ll get the hang of it.

Good luck! Your progress will hopefully inspire me. I've been afraid to pull the SR trigger.

Thanks! I hope it does enable... errr... inspire you to give it a go. It can be a bit intimidating the first time putting the blade to your face, but the first smooth stroke really set the hook and pulled me completely in.

The chin and upper lip were always the toughest part of straight razor shaving for me. You’re probably doing better than I did when I got started.
