As time and shaves go by. You’ll notice that your pace will be quicker. Building muscle memory and face mapping are what you are after. At least that’s how it happened for me. In the early days with straights. I had to re apply my soap as it would dry out. 😱
I definitely still have to re-apply lather from time to time. What amazes me is how comfortable I am with my non-dominant hand now.

Great shave tonight. The Zingari Man soap decided to break into a few pieces while loading, so it’s days a numbered. Another shave or two with it and then I’ll start a Clown Puke tune with whatever is left. I really felt in the zone tonight and went on auto pilot. I didn’t realize I skipped the DE cleanup until I was about to douse myself in the glory that is GTB. I’m definitely not BBS but I’m happy with the results. Tomorrow I’ll start the next section of the tutorials with cross face shaving and straight razor cleanup. Should be interesting and probably a little bloody. How ever it turns out it’ll be a learning experience.
Have a great night Cadre.

Just can’t go wrong with GTB. Tonight was the first time trying to do cleanup with the straight. Some how no blood was spilled. There a a few spots that I have to figure out how to get the right angle for but over all a really nice shave.

Great shave with Southern Witchcrafts soap again. I’m adding this to the list of must have soap bases in my den.
Late reply, but now caught up. SW is an awesome soap base. And their scents are amazing. I'm a fan of every one of them.... still have a couple of the newer ones to get.

Autumn Ash is the only scent that I have tried and i am kinda neutral on it. Their new scent Gravefruit sounds pretty interesting to me.

First time using Speick last night. I am more than impressed is it. Amazing lather. Super slick and stable. I was able to thin it down very nicely and it was like oil on glass. I see this being used heavily in my ADHD soap “rotation”. I was going to post last night but it turned into a really long rant about how my buddy’s car was stolen the night before he got home from deployment from our parking lot and dealing with all of that. Good stuff.
