I’m right there with ya. If I ever whittle down my soap stock MdC toward the top of the list to purchase. I seem to really be enjoying the non-tallow soaps lately.
 
It is definitely a top tier soap, in fact many companies have emulated thier base, so in essence you may have already shaved with it in theory, it is worth having in the den

Got back yesterday from playing truck driver for a couple days just in time for a 4 day weekend. It was nice to be on the road but I’m happy to be back home where it isn’t nearly 100 degrees. I’ve used my Graydog brush daily since it came to me and the knot has broken in wonderfully. The trip was uneventful but I did spot a sign at our destination that made me wonder how many times this has happened to warrent a sign.

Any particular reason they can’t have a safety release on the inside? Lol...
 
Long time ago. When I work at a factory making 1,2 and 3 liter soda bottles. They had to come up with a system to keep the drivers. From pulling the wrong trailer away from the docks.
With someone still in it, on a forklift. The signs had to be dumbed down twice. :eek:

I pasted the inside of my strop and gave it 20 laps then 60 on clean cotton and finally 100 on leather. The edge felt smooth and sharp and I got a very close and comfortable DFS. The Speick performed wonderfully and I only noticed a small bit of irritation on the left side of my Adam’s apple from going over the same spot without lather.

I’ve never been into Scotch but I bought a bottle of Monkey Shoulder yesterday. The last time I had Scotch it was over 10 years ago, I think it was Johnny Walker Black and it just didn’t do it for me. This, however, is very easy to drink with a single ice cube or neat. I’m going to have to explore this a bit more.

Off my game tonight. Horrible job lathering, wasn’t paying attention and smacked the blade off my jaw. I probably should have stopped and grabbed the Lupo but I just kept on goin. Oh well, can’t win them all.
