Craig I fell way behind. So CONGRATS on 200 straight shaves that is AWESOME!

Also so jealous that you got to go to the meetup at Soap Commander HQ. I saw the pics on Facebook!
Thanks Chad! It was fun!

Pre Shave: LAB Series Pro LS All-In-One Cleansing Gel
Razor: Delta Echo Crimson Tide Fatboy G1
Blade: PolSilver Super Iridium
Brush: Whipped Dog 24mm Synthetic
Soap: Soap Commander Dirty South Shavers Meet Up 2018
Post Shave: Cold Water Rinse, Alum Block, and Dickson's
After Shave: Don Draper Blue After Shave

1st shave of the week due to the holiday and my extra day off. Had to mow down the 3 day growth before heading back to work.
Celebrating the Alabama Crimson Tide Win over Louisville. ROLL TIDE!

I was also dying to use the soap we made at the meet up. The scent of this soap is Lemon, Orange, Amber, and Vetiver. These scents combine together to make something wonderful! I really like this scent. The remaining tubs will be sold on Soap Commanders Website, as of right now are not on there yet. I'll let everyone know when it is available. Whipped up a great later. The strenght of scent
is a good 3 of 5 and last for the entire shave. Typical great Soap Commander performance.

3 passes and some clean up with the Delta Echo and I'm BBS+. No nicks or weepers and just a tad bit of alum sting on the neck problem areas.

Finished off with a good splash of the Don Draper. This stuff has a pretty good menthol to it, lasts for about 10 minutes after the shave. I wouldn't want much more. It's not too intense though. My face feels great!

I am so sorry that DE messed up your gorgeous Fatboy like that! Maybe you can pass it off to Chad if things get rough...?

Sorry I got so behind Craig, but great reads, shaves, smokes, drinks and soap. Congratulations on the 200 Straight Shave milestone. My, they grow up so fast. I can remember when...

I purchased Carrie's book on shaving soap making, and it helped me a great deal getting started into making soaps. I have retained many of her suggestions, in fact my starting formulation was a close variant of a recipe she had in the book.

Caught back up Craig and you had some awesomeness going on there! Congrats on the 200 with the Tabac and the meet up. Great reads and shaves.

Now worries Walt! I've been behind a few times myself! Carrie and Darren are really nice people!
Crimson...Red...what's the difference. The next thing you know you will be claiming that Alabama has 16 National Championships.
Excellent shave and pic, Craig!
Thanks Erice!

Straight Razor Shave #201
Pre Shave: Bull Dog Original Face Scrub
Razor: Klas Tornblom Eskilstuna
Brush: Stirling Soap Co Synthetic 2-Band 24mm
Soap: Speick Shave Stick
Post Shave: Cold Water Rinse Alum Block and Thayers
After Shave: Speick After Shave Lotion
Cologne: Florida Water Colognge

Well this is my official SPEICktember shave.

The Speick shave stick preforms well, nothing to get all excited about. Its easy to lather, the residual slickness is lacking, but still usable.

Did a little different on the last part of the shave today. Instead of clean up after the 3rd pass, I did a half pass on the chin and neck XTG in the opposite direction of the 1st XTG. Results a nice BBS with 2 weepers and just a little alum sting.

Finished with the Speick AS. This is a great AS. My face feels great! Followed with some dotties of the Florida Water. I think I smell pretty good!

Setup 9-7-2018

Typical Friday night at the cigar lounge. On a side note I've let over a dozen people smell the Dirty South Shavers Meet Up soap and everyone has liked it!
