Thanks Chris! It was a lot of fun! Yeah I think the name will be Dirty South Shavers 2018 or something like that, but it was neat that the combination I picked got the most votes. The really interesting thing was everyone just about agreed on the mid and base notes. The top note actually wound up with Orange winning by one vote, a tie between Lemon and Grapefruit, and pear loosing by 2. We had a show of hands to break the tie and Lemon won.
 
What a great experience Craig! And yeah...you didn't miss much on that Bama game.
 
That's outstanding stuff there, Craig!!! Great pictures and write-up of the event...looks like it was a good time had by all for sure!
 
What an cool experience and getting that soap pic which sounds awesome ! I gotta get some of that Recreation. On my radar since Josh used it.
 
Thanks Craig for letting us know! As a resident of the Dirty South (Because it doesn't get any dirtier and southern than Alabama and Louisiana) I decided to see what all the hub-bub was about...bub!

Dave when the scent we made comes up for sale you should get it too! I'd wait and make one purchase, throw in a Splash and you'd have free shipping.

Oh man, I wish I had known about that meet up! Guess that's what I get for not doing the Facebook thing. Looks like an awesome time! And you got some good swag to bring home, too!

Im not on many mailing lists, but I love hearing about meet ups, especially since I’m hosting one myself next month in KC. Any info you have about meetups in the future, please share with your fellow cadre!

KJ I would have shared here if it had been an open invite. SC sent out the invites and requested RSVP's. Since it was hosted by SC and sponsored by a closed facebook group I didn't feel I had the right to announce it here.
There was about 2 dozen adults, about 6 of us went stag and the rest husband and wife, and 3 shaving age sons, and about 4 or so children, not counting SC's children. It was a family friendly event. It was a great time!

It was a first for me! I really Enjoyed it. This was the facebook groups 4th annual meetup. Wish I had of know about the others, all were within a 3 hour drive for me.

Hey! I saw GI Jammin’ James was Facebook live at that event. He’s one of the guys I watched early on and still do from time to time when he’s live.

Just met him at the meet up. Great Guy! Very knowledgeable!
 
Craig I fell way behind. So CONGRATS on 200 straight shaves that is AWESOME!

Also so jealous that you got to go to the meetup at Soap Commander HQ. I saw the pics on Facebook!
