Catching up, Craig! I have never tried the SV...but I think I'm going to need to sooner or later...

And you were sipping one of my fave scotches the other night - the Aberlour A'Bunadh is an absolute gem!
Thanks Brad! Yes you need to give an SV soap a go. Agreed Aberlour A'Bunadh is a good dram.

A great choice with the SV Felce!! Never smelled the sartorial to have a comparison for it though. Great shave my friend.

Nice shaves. I too have never tried the SV...but I think I'm going to need to sooner or later...probably later as I need to slow on purchases for a little

Hmmm looks like I forgot to post a couple of mail calls here.

This one came yesterday.

Pre Shave: LAB Series Pro LS All-In-One Cleansing Gel
Razor: RazoRock Mission
Blade: Parker Premium Platinum
Brush: RazoRock Plissoft Disruptor Synthetic
Soap: RazoRock American Barber
Post Shave: Cold Water Rinse, Alum Block, and Dickson's
After Shave: RazorRock American Barber After Shaving Splash
Cologne: Zscent American Barber Cologne

All RazoRock shave today. This is RazoRock's take on Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Per Homme. They say there are 2 other companies doing a take on this scent. I know about Fine Accoutrements American Blend, but I'm don't know who the other company is. Anyhow the scent of this soap is a much closer take on the original Rive Gauche IMHO. I haven't smelled the new version. It's not as powdery as American Blend. I do like it, it rocks, but is it a better scent that American Blend? I really can't say just judging them by themselves that I would choose one over the other. Strength of scent on the puck is a 1.5 of 5. Lathered it opens up to a
3 of 5. The scent last for the entire shave. Performance is typical RazoRock.

3 passes with the Mission and the Parker blade and I'm BBS+. No nicks or weepers. Just a tad bit of alum sting. I think the Parker blade is nearing the end of it's usefulness.

Splashed on some of the After Shaving Splash and followed it with a few spritzes of the Cologne. Both of them are a good scent match. Longevity on the Splash is 2 to 3 hours. The cologne lasted a good 7 hours.

I did go on a bicycle ride Sunday and then later in the day I cut the grass. Man it was HOT! I was soaked! Kinda worn out after I got the yard work done.

Pre Shave: LAB Series Pro LS All-In-One Cleansing Gel
Razor: Delta Echo Custom Roll Tide G1 Gillette Fatboy
Blade: Parker Premium Platinum
Brush: Simpson Duke 3 in Pure Badger
Soap: Fine Accoutrements American Blend
Post Shave: Cold Water Rinse, Alum Block, and Dickson's
After Shave: Fine Accoutrements American Blend After Shave
Cologne: Fine Accoutrements American Blend EdT

All to note about this shave is that I think there maybe one more shave left in the Parker Blade. I was feeling just a little tugging at times and I did manage to amass 4 weepers. Just a tad of alum sting though. BBS+ still even with the weepers.

The Fine EdT is an exact match to me of the Soap and After Shave. It's only been 3 hours since I shaved but the scent is going strong.

Best red, white, and blue themed shave that I could come up with.

Bicycle ride today. I added this pretty good hill in and then decided to add a little more distance too. Man I can feel it in my legs!

We've going to grill some hamburgers and hot dogs here in a little bit. Maybe go to the front yard later and watch the cities fireworks show. Got a pretty good view from there.

I hope everyone is having a Great Independence Day!

Good stuff Craig and great shaves. You do travel a good distance on your bike rides.

Thanks for the read. That DE custom looks like a razor that would be equipped on a fire truck.

Great shave and fantastic Mail Call! I've been on the edge of pulling the trigger on a bottle of WSP's Olympus EDP for a while, but have held off for unknown reasons. Maybe because I already have two Aventus-inspired frags, but that's no excuse.
