I've got to start getting to bed earlier! The wanting of extra sleep is interfering with my shaving!
No shave yesterday nor this morning. I decided just to do a DE shave before heading to the lounge tonight.

Razor: Gillette Slim I2 (set on 6)
Blade: PolSilver Super Iridium
Brush: Stirling Boar
Soap: Taconic Lime
Post Shave: Cold Water Rinse Alum Block, and Dickson's
After Shave: Bootlegger's Lime Bay Rum
Cologne: Royall Lyme All Purpose Lotion
I love the scent of this soap, just a nice lime. The last time I used the lather didn't wow me. Today I attempted to make a lather using the SV method in my scuttle and it just wasn't happening. So I went back to the puck with the Stirling Boar and loaded a little and went to the face. I was able to get a nice usable lather. The one place this lather stood out was residual slickness WOW a good 4.5 of 5. 3 passes and a little buffing on the neck and I'm BBS++ darn near grail shave. No nicks, weepers, or alum sting.
Finished with a good splash of the Bootlegger's and some dotties of the Royall Lyme and I'm smelling all limey. A great scent for this 90° Spring day.

Tonight at the Cigar Lounge I met another Brother Wet Shaver. We spent a long time talking about soaps, razors, brushes, you know the drill. I told him about TSC and invited him to join us here.
