Razor: Rockwell 6c Plate #4

Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (4)

Brush: Paladin 26mm Lotus Lime

Soap: CBL Premium Save Soap - Ghost Lime

Aftershave 1: Thayers Cucumber

Aftershave 2: Pinaud Clubman Citrus Musk

This is my 3rd shave with the Ghost Lime.

The scent off the tub for the Ghost Lime shave today is about a 2.5 and as you lather it is about a 3-3.5 on strength of scent. A 15 second load from the tub with a slightly damp brush yielded more than enough for my typical 3 pass shave with lather to spare. The soap provides exceptional lather with great cushion and impressive slickness. I actually after my with the grain pass did my across the grain without relathering as I normally do and the slickness was there as expected. I finished up the shave with some Thayers Cucumber and topped it off with some Citrus Musk that paired well with this and made for an excellent shave. Real excited about the next batch that's in the mail !!

Keep me posted on how your face reacts to the Russian Tea. The fragrance oils I used should have very little chance of irritation but if you feel it, it must be there.

The irritant feel was more prominent 1st shave and less so the 2nd. So I'm hoping I adjust to it. Was thinking maybe the cinnamon but it's not bad enough yet to give it up. I've drank Russian Tea in the winter ding volunteer work on a construction project and this reminds me of those fun times. Love it

Cinnamon, clove and orange are fairly common for irritation, same with vanillin...but the Russian tea doesn't have any vanillin. Hang with it, perhaps there was another influencer at play.

Brush: Razorock 400 Noir Synthetic

Soap: Ballenclaugh Honey & Tobacco

Aftershave 1: Speick

Aftershave 2: Avon Deep Woods for scent

Well wrapped up my Speicktember shaves today and did a SEptember shave with the Gem Junior reminding myself why I had it on the bay. Can I shave with it without mishap.....YES. Do I like/want to.....NO !!! Just don't care for it as it requires too much attention to keep the red stuff inside my veins. Used the sample from Don that just won't quit but finished it finally today and my copper bowl is again available for samples to try. Topped things off with the Speick AS and will use some Deep Woods here shortly so I can smell as good as i feel. Hope all in the Cadre had a good day and a better evening !! The razor has to go. I do need t send some soap from Chris to Chris of the Noir persuasion so if he is interested I will drop in his box. What do you say Chris ?? I'll include blades for it as well ??

If you feel so inclined, I’ll not say no! At least I can say I’ll have given it a try. Definitely not trying to fall through an SE rabbit hole though!

Good shave today! How’d you like the Deep Woods? Is that one you already had?
 
Yeah going back to the gas pump for it. Have another Gas Pump (Yellow) coming and a motorcycle because well...................just because. Will try to get stuff in the mail in next day or 2.
 
Nice shave Dave. Got the box today that Fragile Confusion smells a bit like a soda flavored candy to me. Revolution is really nice scent and the “F” plate is going for its test runs tonight or tomorrow

HAHAHA???????????? SE rabbit hole. Buy an RX rabbit hole gets a metric ton less deep if you start on the bottom once you get that one you won’t like another one. At least that’s what I thought.

You know, there’s something to be said about the RX if NurseDave is still hanging on to his! It’s tempting!

Still, I’d like to see what’s in store for the Colonial General too.

Then again, who am I kidding?! I’d be in the doghouse for sure if I spent that much on a either razor!
