Bourbon Country Shave Journal - Dave in KY

@Dave in KY
Can I get your opinion on the scent of that Zingari Soloist? Is it balanced on all three of the notes? Or is one more prominent?
TIA
Fluffy
I always preface with scents are such an individual take and vary. I'm working off a small sample but all 3 seem to be well blended. Comes across very similar to WK King of Bourbon or the Small Batch Shave Tonic so it's a definite boozie scent to me but well blended. Sorry, it's all this nose blind person has...........I liked it enough to order a tub as soon as my shave was done (y)

I go an Idea. Send me your shipping info and I'll send you the rest of the sample since I have a tub coming....

That pizza sounds amazing to me. I love artichoke.

do another 3017 to use up some smaller CBL soaps.
That's one reason I 3017 software - having a bunch of partially used soaps and splashes would make me crazy, but using them up creates room for new stuff.

2020 Shave # 51 ( 469 Consecutive Shaves )
Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: Feather Pro (5)
Brush: Stuart w/ Maggard Synthetic
Soap: CBL Premium California Sunshine
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
Aftershave 2: Nivea 2 in 1 AS
Fragrance: Amouage Sunshine Man

So today's soap choice was based on my final Sample from @Smattayu and actually the one he offered kindly to me before sending a bunch of samples. California Sunrise was originally a limited release in the premium base by CBL Soaps at the request of @Dagwoodz I believe and I happened to jump on a tub. Glad I did ! While scent strength is light it is their and has the typical amazing performance of Chris' soap. So onto what inspired the soap...........Amouage Sunshine Man. Here's what is said on the web about it:

Sunshine Man is a spicy and romantic fragrance expressing a retro-chic interplay of freshness and sensuality. Opens with lavender, orange brandy, everlasting flower, middle notes are bergamot, juniper berry, clary sage and base notes are cedar wood, Tonka bean and vanilla
Above average longevity.

I get an initial citrus opening and the warm spice and wood dry down vanilla subtly in the background. I like this one and am glad to try it but don't know if I'll ever pull the trigger on it as it's pricey. It can be found reasonable though. I saw it as high as @$350 for 3.4 oz on Amazon to a low of $146 for 3.4 oz on Fragrancenet.com which is the best place price wise that I find most of the ones I buy.

Long day of work today and a tough one but we'll power thru because.................................wait for it...........................
REASONS..................................actually, I just have no choice. What needs to be done, needs to be done. The emergency rooms are always open........Have a Stupid Fun Day Cadre !!!
