Razor 1: Cubano Edition Delta Echo Slim (Set on 5)
Blade: Bolzano Superinox (2)
Brush: Razorock BC Silvertip Plissoft
Soap: Honey Bee Green Irish Tweed
Aftershave 1: Humphrey’s Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: Aqua Velva

No muss, no fuss shave today. Decided to get out my honey bee soap after Josh's review and gice the melt and pour a whirl. Haven't used one for quite some time and this did the job for me today. Also decided to get a vintage in my mix as I've been enamored lately with my moderns and have neglected the vintages.

Hope the Cadre is having a great weekend !!

Thanks Dave ! Why can't we be sleeping like everyone else. I wake early even when I don't have too. Getting a full bronchial Dilator testing done the 30th before a possible sleep study.......................... Have a good day !!

Well...mine was getting pain pills. But normally I sleep through the night instead of waking up a few times since I got my CPAP.

Sleep study is my next step after the breathing tests. Glad cpap works for you. May pick your brain about them down the road if I end up with one.

Getting caught up, Dave.....Old Spice - yes sir! BTW, there's one vendor (that I know of) that sells Old Spice aftershave from India - it smells like the vintage to me - great juice!.......and I just got a CPAP this past January. It took some getting used to, for sure. But I do believe that it's helping me sleep better.

Yeah, I'm told it takes awhile to adjust to it if I need it. Glad it's helping you Chris.

Razor: CB Karve Plate “C”
Blade: Israeli Red (7)
Brush: Eric Sorrentino Cadre Custom
Soap: Vitos Sapone Per Barba
Aftershave 1: Humphrey’s Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: Brut Splash

Have had this soap from the bay for awhile. Bought as a chunk and took me some time to get a tub to mush it into. A simple almond scent that is underwhelming. Produces a rich creamy lather that gave an enjoyable shave, but after the shave it feels drying on the face. After witch hazel and a splash soft face feel is fine. Probably not one I’ll reach for as often as others but will keep in the den for now. The “Cadre” brush from Eric the more I use, the more I “LOVE” it. I’m not big on the small handle to me with my big mitts but the Cashmere knot is luxuriantly soft with good backbone. I am DEFINITELY getting another brush or 2 made by Eric with larger handles. I was familiar with and have used J Hooking, buffing and the Gillette slide that KJ and Dave highlighted in their videos, but don’t always employ these methods as often as I should. As I was shaving I could hear Dave’s voice saying, “Take 5 seconds more to get a better BBS” I listened and was rewarded. Never understood the difference between Brut’ Aftershave and Splash-On but Topped things off with the Splash-on I have and smeel good and feel great.

Have a great day Cadre !!

Sounds like a great shave today Dave! All those Italian soaps perform wonderful...but they all either seem to be an almond scent a bright citrus scent, or a musky scent. Have a great day Dave!

Glad you had a good shave Dave, even if the soap was lacking a bit.

Brut Splash On is a frag, while the AS is supposed to have a cut scent and also has menthol added.

Thanks I'll get the aftershave next time. Don't think it was in stock when I grabbed this.

Well, bummer about the soap. I actually have the Vitos Sapone Per Barba "Extra Super", and it works very well for me with the water at my house. I find the scent to be very much to my liking - I totally dig it; and a solid 4/5 on the SOS scale. As a matter of fact, I just may use it tomorrow. Is the one you have the "Extra Super"?

Yes it's the "Extra Super". Like I said, great lather just felt dry after a pass of lather is removed. I guess I should have said the residual slickness didn't seem that great. Just my first use so could try a few more times to dial in but the scent while not bad, just doesn't check that box for me. If you're getting low, I could send you the rest of this 100 grams (3.5 oz)

Razor: Timeless .68 OC
Blade: Pol Silver SI (1)
Brush: Stirling 2 Band Synthetic
Soap: Noble Otter BarrBarr
Aftershave 1: Humphrey’s Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: CFG Ghost Town Barber

Well Don was generous and Pif’d some Nobble Otter BarrBarr. Besides someone blindly sending me maybe 6 individual blades this has actually been the first Pif I’ve ever won on any forum. Thanks Don. This scent may not be what I would choose if looking to buy but it is certainly an enjoyable one for me and the performance is outstanding. Post shave is awesome especially after topping it off with GTB. Thanks again Don !! Can’t stop feeling my face. Only about my 5th or 6th shave with the Timeless but I am a Fanboy for sure. More efficient then any other razor I’ve used. Been seeing them go complete sets for $175-185 in another neighborhood so a real value in my mind. I’ll leave the technical talk to Chad as his doing his video review/comparison.

Made progress Monday on the deck project. Work the rest of the week. Have a great day Cadre !!

I believe the splash on Brut has no menthol, and is slightly weaker scent than the aftershave. But it’s also way cheaper!

Im liking the Rockwell so far, and if you say to like the Timeless better, then im really looking forward to trying it!
