Poor kids.... I was the first to tell a girl I liked her pennywise costume and to tell a boy “nice, plague doctor!” I made his trick r treating night 2020.....

first try with full tub of CBL... @mrdoug sent me a generous sample tub of the back alley barber a few months back. Worked well enough, but if you read my journal, know I don’t like samples as a true judge of character of the soap. This soap, Homme, smells decent enough but lit my face up like the forth of July lathered well but cannot make a solid opinion based on one firey shave
Only set me back $5 so didn’t feel bad about binning it.... but my wife came to its rescue and will try it out. The Aluminum M1 proves my point on aluminum razors in general. I have the SS M1 and it’s nice. This one... not so. Did 5-6 passes + molten lava soap on face and still had stubble. Doubt anyone would buy it here, so eBay, here we come! My wife has permanently borrowed my Merkur 34 so she approves of the sale. Take care all and have a blessed Sunday Cadre.

Missed taking a pic last night. It was a good shave nonetheless, soap commander honor and good ol’ clubman. Henson razor. Of course. Simpson brush. Duh!
my youngest had karate class, wife took him. So had the oldest at home. The cool dad I am, I set up Disney plus on the iPad on the side of the big tub in our master bath and let him take a bubble bath with tv.... yep, cool dad here he did watch me shave and wanted to “ shave” as well. So I tossed him my super speed (no blade of course... I checked after about 30 seconds ) and some foamy I had lying around. All in all, special bonding time shaving with my oldest son i did promise to buy him any razor and brush when he starts shaving.... praying he doesn’t find any shaving forums by then
