PR: Face wash with Stirling Menth
SO: Lisas Somali Rose remix
RZ: Razorock MJ90A
BL: Personna Comfort (#3)
PO: Stirling Glacial Unscented Balm
TA: None

NOTES: Face lather

⭐⭐⭐⭐(4/5)

Another good smooth shave, definitely (ever so slightly) closer than the DE89 this time. Not as close as the GC 84, but I am beginning to have high hopes that it will indeed fit the in-between I am looking for. Again, only time will tell.

Same as last the takeaway here is smooth. I am now 101% sure this is smoother than the famed DE89. I even checked to be certain I had the 'A' plate... It was that smooth. No irritation, no redness. This is without a shower and no talc used afterwards.

Used my 'Somali Rose remix' this time. What a great scent. I really do think I hit onto something mixing the two bases. The protection of clay, the luxury of the premium. [emoji106]

I'm sure I mentioned it before, but I am definitely digging this blade. I get more shaves than I did on any of the others I used regularly (Nacet, 7 o'clock black, or Bic chrome). It's as smooth as the BIC (my smoothest), but closer to the middle ground for sharpeness (7 o'clock black).

Shave is good, life is good. Have a great day Cadre!

I'm gonna need a Legend for some of your abbreviations on shave software/hardware categories
You mean these?

PR: Preshave
SO: Soap
RZ: Razor
BL: Blade
PO: Postshave
TA: Talc

Sorry, I tried to abbreviate them as logically as I can.

I've actually been considering dumping the talc. It really bears little on the shave. It'll make my skin feel a bit better if I had a rough shave, but it's a bit outside the experience. Also I only have two and I hands down prefer the king talc. So that's going to be used 99% of the time. [emoji848]

Nice shave! Talc seems to be getting popular around here. I don’t think I’m going to try it though.

Thanks I had PO as Post Op for some reason and couldn't figure out the TA. I rarely use the talc now although I am not against it. It just isn't an every shave thing. Nice read (y)

Yeah, I find that it is nice for (1) the sticky feeling after a shave in the summer or (2) if you need a bit more irritation relief after the aftershave has done what it's going to do.

I'm probably removing it next time. It's not shave included, it's shave adjacent. I even use it if I'm gonna go do some heavy work I know that will make me sweaty. It's good for more than a shave, imo. I believe some of the Dave's even use it for Motorcycle riding? I'm definitely not shaving on a Bike. Lol.

Do you want your chaps chaffing?

Umm, I try not to wear chaps in my day to say life. Still, I'm going to go with 'No. No I don't'.

Boy I got them all wrong!

I don't think my shaves would go over too well if I shaved with a pernicious rodent... or any of them for that matter. Lol.

Yet another good smooth shave. Recently I've been face lathering. Something that used to be no good, now I seem to prefer it. Weird.

Still loving there Personna Comfort Blades. In fact, I'd say their my #1 right now. I'm getting more reliable shaves from this blade, too. It would be great to pull off 7 quality shaves from a blade, which is an even 2 weeks (ever other day). I pray whoever took over Personna decides these blades are keepers.

Sorry this is turning into a boring topic. Not much to discuss when it all goes right. Great news for me, though.

At least when it's a good shave, it means there's even less for to skim!

Cal Sunrise is a great scent in my top 10 for sure. I have the original version, how strong is it in puck form?

It's a medium-light scent strength. Maybe 4 or 5 out of 10? Not strong, but definitely there. Not sure if the premium has more scent or not. Being one of Chris' more expensive scents, it could be lighter in the cheaper base. Still, plenty strong for me.

Actually I’d say the premium is about a 4 or 5 too, and seems just right for the scent, it’s very effervescent.

I very much like it, which is odd as I am usually not excited by Lavender nor Orange scents and this one is both, I believe. It's just the right amount, strength, and additions (including something giving it "creaminess", like a dessert). [emoji106]
