Your Latest Fragrance Purchase

Carthusian - A'mmare
This one has been getting a bit of buzz lately. I'm not a huge aquatic guy, tbh I usually feel there's something a bit played out (for me) with the genre. But still, when the sun is out, and it's holiday time, there's no better style to fit the mood.
People who don't normally love aquatics gave this a thumbs up, and I decided to take a chance.

So far, really nice, the aquatic aspect is super natural, not that off putting synthetic calone note here, it really smells like the ocean. That is being at the ocean, wearing something like Mennan, with a bit of vanillia (not listed but that's what I get). That's nice, becuase I think it makes it wearable out of season, we shall see.

Anyway, we're off to the Finnish Archipelago next week, and this is coming with me.

Super fresh aromatic, herbal lavender followed by bitter almost grassy blackcurrant buds. I found this this to be very compelling, though it doesn't smell like a fragrance as much as the ingredients. Very easy anytime reach for me.

Thanks in large part to TSC’s Macaroni Boy Brian, had this guy come in the mail today! Nice soapy citrus…along the lines of DHC but not quite a sweet and less lemony, with a burst of mint. Should see some good use in the coming sunny days!
