Fun times… New Years breakfast. Pork sausage hash with scrambled eggs from the backyard. Accompanied by homemade sourdough and apple butter.

Below I made some beef tallow from beef suet. And another day, made Korean stew and some porterhouse steak.

Sooo here’s a few meals I did the past few days. Hot pot, charcuterie, roasted potato and dirty steak in the fireplace.

VERDICT:
Very tasty, a good spice, hot? Not really, but if you are a pepper head you will enjoy as a nice mild experience, ingredients blend well
 
So I like making charcuterie boards with whatever I have on hand. Here is one I made for breakfast this week. And another for dinner. For the steak, I made a dirty steak using the coals from the fireplace. Didn’t go fancy and used some eye round steaks that I got on sale. Simple salt and pepper and then while resting put some thyme butter. You got that great wood flavor from the oak coals.
