How does it stack against the Macallan 12 Sherry or A'Bunadh? I have to admit I haven't felt the need to venture past the A'Bunadh when I have a Sherry hankering, especially when I now have the Laphroaig Sherry in the bar too.
I was thinking about that last night and should have gotten the Macallan out right then and there. Haven't had A'Bunadh. From what I remember, the Kirkland is sweeter than Macallan and all I could think of was it felt very thin in the mouth. I wasn't thrilled with it at the start, but after easing into it, it was okay. I've seen local comments that it does much better with some air, so I'll have to try it again next week.
