Started the evening with:
A Beam product showing the characteristic peanut profile that most Beam whiskeys have. This time it came across as peanut butter.
Finished the evening with a dram of:
This limited release bottle came across as creamy cinnamon apples. It just knocked my socks off. It is a blend of 4 year old bourbons from Castle & Key Distillery, and it is amazing.
Both are excellent bottles. I am probably going to pickup a few more bottles of Old Tub. I wish I could get more of this Pinhook. I am glad that I have a backup bottle.
