Wait, I thought 2 pages ago you said you only had one left on your list.
I just have one more razor to complete my collection (and it hasn’t been released yet) - then I am through - I promise!

To think at the end of 2019, I owned one razor (Weishi Long Handle) and two soaps (TOOBS Sandalwood and Stirling Sheep)

Good thing that the last couple of years only limited myself to 3 razors per year. Ha, this one has been crazy so far.

Was a happy, little accident. When I buy anything vintage - I always consider the costs of refurbishing it - because unless it is wrapped in the original packaging - and never been used - I’m going to want to use it - and I just have a thing to want my stuff to look as close to new as possible.

So I determined what the razor would be worth to me in total (cost of acquisition + cost of refurbish) to buy in anything but NOS condition and made a bid (I didn’t want to insult the seller- but I bid based on those afore mentioned conditions); I figured the worst that would happen, and the most probable, would the seller would either counter - or most probable, refuse the bid altogether. But………the seller accepted.

I have an order in for AA Shaving Soap The Hunt. An updated batch should be out shortly, but I managed to get ahold of a straggler from the first batch. The scent, I would say, is in the same family as CBL Private Reserve in that it's a sweet opening, overpowering anything else, but breaks down to a light cologne type scent. Very nice and the performance is phenomenal IMO.

Austin, the guy who makes it, is just starting out. From what I understand it's a side project for him, as I've been told he's active US Navy (which, in today's world is a dangerous job itself).

Only had a small sample previously. Very excited to get my hands on a full tub. [emoji106]
