Nice! Scrolling down wondering exactly what is wrong with the scales, then I see THAT. Good grief. I have two Temperite blades that need scales. Wish I could duplicate the old scales in better material. Weren't they originally clear?

All the ones I have seen that I believe are original were translucent yellow.

I have seen some Very Nice scales made out of the translucent material from the "plastic" clip boards like you can buy at Walmart or office supply stores for school and work....

I was checking for clipboards at the Dollar Store the other day! All they had was was the particle board type though.

Thank you, Brian. I especially like it because the etching is significantly smoother than that of the Damascus, which had been my only complaint about the Damascus.

I really like the knurling on this one. Interesting take on a slant - will take it for a test drive on Sunday - need to make sure I have some whiskers and I don’t want my first test to be on the noggin - just in case.

It is a neat mechanism that look like it has a couple of spring tension arms with doors that open and close to scoop in small amounts.
