First shave since Thursday morning was had this afternoon when I got up. The shave was excellent though. This soap really likes a wet brush for loading. make a mess AND an amazing lather!

So yeah it was a crazy few days. I think AZ Governor declared SOE on Wednesday evening and Tucson did likewise on Thursday. unfortunately for us we were at our normal time to do a major grocery shopping trip. That was a major pain. Had to go to 3 different stores just to get our normal groceries. luckily we got our normal TP and paper towels last week. I hope people aren't grabbing the paper towels because the TP is gone. Plumbing work might be extremely lucrative in the near future.

Things at work have also gone nuts in the last several days. We moved some systems to some new servers as they needed to be brought up to date and the way we will be utilizing those systems is altering for better operational security, but there have been complications(go figure). On top of that they announced that employees who are sick or have sick families should stay home a d if you come in sick you will be sent home. well, my coworker who would be on nights this weekend hit both the family and personal illness status so instead of working a day shift today I ended up working tonight. they are also working to put together the tech for us to do as much of the normal office work at home so that we can keep the old electrons flowing. it's going to be an interesting few weeks to be sure.

Also, got news recently that my dad has been diagnosed with cancer. he will be starting radiation therapy soon it sounds like. Prayers are greatly appreciated.

That's all for now. Have a good night Cadre!

Kyle, I'm sorry that with the chaos going on around the world and work you had reality hit home with your dad's diagnosis. It puts things in perspective as to what's REALLY important and what isn't. Hope all goes well, it was caught early and recovery is swift.

Today's shave

Just seemed like a good day for a Tech shave. shave was great and 9 hrs later I am just barely starting to feel some growth shop up.

I'd half expected to arrive at work be handed my work from home kit and sent on my way back but that didn't happen. sounds like I'll be in office Tomorrow as well for sure but the plus side is that its basically just me AND we have a separate AC system from the rest of the building.

As with most people its been a busy week. was off Wednesday and Thursday and back at work tonight but then I'm on my normal days off till next Friday night. my wife is going to start WFH on Monday so we will be setting up her work area tomorrow. My department has been deemed critical and will continue to work in office but most other work groups in the office building are going to be pretty much all WFH. Guess we will see what that all looks like when I'm back on in a week.

Stick in there Kyle. Times are tough but you and the wife will get through it. By the way...that Pipe looks familiar! 🤪

Well things happened and I hadn't shaved since Monday when I got up yesterday(friday) afternoon. I took that opportunity to see how the tech could handle the extra growth... I swear it felt like I was using a squeegee and the hairs just disappeared. so smooth!

Had a busy night Thursday night. Bathed our 3 dogs, baked a batch of banana muffins and a couple loaves of zucchini bread, and built an internal pvc frame for a hidyhole my wife made for the dogs.

Started typing this at work but kept getting interrupted. I'm now home and headed to bed for the day till it's time to do it all again!

Have a good one stay safe everyone.
