So finished season 2 of Ozark. MAN! The women in this show are ruthless! It's a really great show. Looking forward to binging season 3.

Finished the Man in the Highcastle series.
Really great show...until the last episode. Very similar feeling of let down to what happened at the end of Lost, but truncated because the series was overall shorter and the finale didn’t really get extra air time for something drawn out.

Otherwise a really good sci-fi/alt-history kind of explorative series.

Ozark is the Ultimate show in Girl Power! My wife hasn't watched Ozark yet and I have been trying to get her to watch it...maybe I should pitch the Girl Power thing to her...she eats that stuff up!

I haven't finished that show for some reason. Only a couple episodes into Season Three. I REALLY need to finish it. I like it...a lot...I just have to be in the right mood to watch it though.

Not familiar with that one.
It was an HBO miniseries based on - but not faithful to - the 1980s comic book series of the same name. I watched it the weekend that HBO ran it for free, but I think it's available for rent on Amazon Prime. Great storytelling, excellent acting and a compelling story.

This is one I most definitely will NOT be recommending to my lovely War Department then. That woman don't need no more power. I even lock up my CPap machine when I ain't home! True story dog gone!

I'll bet a nickel I can convince my nabor to let me watch it with him! Sounds like it's right up his alley!

Wonder if it's a on DVD or whatever it's called now?

By the way, not necessarily the most family-friendly show out there. It's got a fair share of violence, nudity, adult (nonsexual) themes, and cussing.
Well, then that's out. I'm still married after 32 years for two separate but equal reasons: love and fear!

I've been watching Doom Patrol. I am finding it very entertaining and a delightful departure from some other DC stuff. Some of it is a bit cheesy, but I find that the series does not take itself too seriously, so I chalk the cheesiness up to just that. All in all...I think it has some decent acting and likable characters. Surprisingly dark and funny at the same time. I do not recommend for kids though. A LOT of adult themes and content throughout.
