TV Shows

Watching "The Great" on Hulu. It's funny because the show only claims to be occasionally true. The show tells "a story" of Catherine the Great and her rise to Empress of Russia. It's definitely a comedy, but with dramatic moments. It's one of these shows that you find your self laughing at scenes that you probably shouldn't be laughing at. I'm a little more than half way through the season and I have to say that it's a fun little TV show. If you are looking for a History Channel masterpiece...skip this...it will likely just irritate you. But if you are looking for a nice fun escape from reality? Then this is a show for you!
 
Watched the first episode of Upload from Amazon. Cute show. Interested to see how they keep it interesting.
 
Just started watching Penny Dreadful on Netflix. The original series. Never saw it before. It's kinda slow going, but I assume it picks up.
 
I'm still going with Upload. Wife didn't want to watch it so it's just a weekend morning viewing for me. We started Lost and while she thinks it's a little strange she's into it so far. She did see how many episodes are in each season and got a little leery of how long it will take to get through them all. Remember back when a season wasn't like 10 episodes?

I made it through the season and I liked it enough that I think I'll start Season 2 when it kicks in. Not the best show I've ever seen, but still an interesting premise.
 
As @Somnos mentioned if you have served in the Military you NEED to watch Netflix Space Force. Hillarious and not too far off from certain aspects LOL

Get out of Here Coast Guard LOLOL. they could not have cast the different branches any better. So when he grounded thing and when he got up to go to the restroom in the beginnng My wife looked over and said OMG its you and with the reference to Bosnia, she thought I could be one of the writers, LOL

Season 3 just dropped.
 
We just finished season 6 of Alone. It's a survival competition with 10 people living on the shore of Great Slave Lake in Canada. Last one to quit or be pulled for medical reasons wins. It was pretty interesting seeing the things people can come up with using minimal tools and supplies.
 
FYI, Hamilton is coming to Disney+ on July 3rd.

Always a wanted to but subtitles distract me.
