We added a new pup 3 weeks ago. Our nearly 13 year old is starting to warm up to him.

The older one, while well socialized, has been an only dog for 12 years, so it's been an adjustment for her.
I would imagine! Never know how those types of changes will play out. We have two cats and everyone wants to add a dog to the mix. That's not going to happen any time soon, but I always wonder how they would react to that.

We haven't had a cat for a few years, but this is what happened to ours when we added the dog...

He was a big cat. 17 lbs if I remember correctly. He thought he was a dog, too.
