Cats sure know how to make sleep look amazing!
I am approaching the 1 year anniversary of losing Carson.
Our vet sent us a card with this poem excerpted in it. I share it here for all you have lost a furry loved one.
Grieve not,
Nor speak of me with tears,
But laugh and talk of me
As if I were beside you there.
Please do not let the thought of me be sad...
For I am loving you just as I always have...
You were so good to me!
I love you so -
'twas heaven here with you!

I get a lump in my throat reading that every time, remembering Carson and the good times we had together.
And, happily, after almost a year, I can look back more with a smile, and sometimes a laugh, at his antics. There is still an ache, but not as wrenching and painful.
