My wife bought a new dog bed for Chauncey because he likes to hang out in the kitchen when the wife is in there.

However, the 50 pound black dog, Allie, has decided that she won't get out of it and that the bed, which is ridiculously small for her, is...well...hers.

I found the picture I've been looking for of my babies.

Matilda is on the left. We rescued her from what my fiancee likes to call the animal farm, aka her mom's house. She was super cute and cuddly when she was a small kitten, but she's taken my personality....sooooooo she's grumpy and doesn't really like being touched.

Emma is on the right. She came from the animal farm too, but a few months later. Emma is very sweet and affectionate, and has very obviously taken after Venessa. She loves snuggles and taking naps.

Together they are demons that run around the apartment at all hours and are not allowed in my bathroom for that reason.
