Last shave with this cart; a fresh one is on deck for tomorrow. More slime-trail adventures for the next few days! Switched over to my Graydog silvertip this morning for the first use of the Gillette Pure cream. Outside of the artificial cologne type of scent, the cream performed VERY well and was super easy to lather up. I will hopefully go nose-blind to the scent within a week.

A fresh cart deliver a fresh slime trail. I did soak it while in the shower and scraped the lube strip with my thumbnail. It might have done some good as the goop trails were not as thick as they were with the last cart. Hopefully all done in another few days with the ooze.

My post-elliptical postcast-listening workout shower'n'shave produced a small blip in the moustache area this morning, but nothing that the alum block (a normal part of my routine, doubling as my pit stick) couldn't fix. The slime was barely noticeable from the cart, so that's definite progress and well worth the 30-40 secs I spent thumb-scraping it before shave-1.
My post-elliptical postcast-listening workout shower'n'shave produced a small blip in the moustache area this morning, but nothing that the alum block (a normal part of my routine, doubling as my pit stick) couldn't fix. I think this may be Sam's "Bad Blade" contest. You know, to prove the superiority/inferiority of one shaving method over another. Something like that.

Up to put the recycling out at 6:30 this morning, and since my wife wanted to attend our community's Probus club for the first time at 10am, it was also an early (for me) elliptical workout and shower'n'shave. Even if it was about 2 hours earlier than normal, the cream, brush and razor didn't know any better, nor the the aftershave rat me out to them. As Tim says, "Life is good!"
Oh, the Probus meeting impressed my wife well enough that it looks like we might join. At the guest sign-in, one of the ladies said to me, "You don't look old enough to be here." To which I replied with a wink, "That's called age-ism." It took her a second or two to realize I was joking. My bridge club is associated with Probus, so I already knew a few folks at the meeting.

I had to look that up! Apparently, there are only 5 clubs in the USA, so it makes sense that I had not heard of one. Sounds like a great retiree activity group!
