Dinner last night was wonderful. If was good to see folks that we have not had over for over 10 years. Funny how things like that happen in life. Even though my wife talks to them via phone at work (different offices), in person is so much better.
Today's shave was my typical "meh, good enough" shave. Nothing excellent to report on, nor anything amiss. Just a solid result.

October wraps up with a 2-weeper shave right on the crease at the top of the mustache area. There must be blood for the ghouls (of course!). Nothing that the alum block didn't fix up, but still .... whatchagonnado?
The month ended up being 14 SE (injector shaves) and 17 DE ones.

This morning saw the end of my Captain's Choice 45th Parallel soap and it went out with a wonderful lather. Except for using a puck of Williams in the February challenge, almost all of this year has been with Captain's Choice shave soap and I am more than happy with how this shaving year has gone so far.

Today marks my first use of Cella in over six(6) years, with my last little red bowl being used from Feb-Apr.2016. My, how time flies! Nonetheless, loading my EJ STF brush was a breeze and the lather was very nice and rich. A great start to this puck/bowl and I am looking forward to the next 2-3 months of morning visits with it.
