I was surprised by how nice this morning's shave result was, given the resistance that the blade met with on my chin area. Beyond that, not overly much going on in my neck of the woods.

Yesterday's whisker resistance to the blade was a preview of today's shave. Still, I pushed through but then trashed the blade afterwards. I will probably spend some time with my Injector now, as it has been a lengthy DE run for me.
 
1993 was the last time I went to a Leafs game, if that helps clarify my status as a fan.
Outside of the Canadian National Soccer teams (both mens and ladies), the New York Football Giants are the only sports team I follow.

First shave with my Injector this year. In fact, Dec.12th was the last time I used it. Almost 3 months .. egads!!! Its return to service was great and made me think, "Why do I bother with anything else?"

The Williams soap survived today, but I am not sure there is enough for a good lather tomorrow, but it is what it is.

.... and we're done! My modern Williams lasted 33 shaves, most of which were sub-standard until I mixed in a heavy dollop of Proraso Pre/Post-shave. After that, it improved immensely.

Will I buy Williams again? No, unless I find some of the old vintage stuff.
Am I happy it is out of production? No, just because I don't like something doesn't mean that others don't enjoy it.

Back to my Captain's Choice Bay Rum starting tomorrow.

Wowsa! After just over a month with Williams, the Captain's Choice Bay Rum scent is a punch in the face... in a good way! Alas, I made the lather with too much water initially, so it was airy for the first pass but settled down to something better for pass-2. It might take me 2-3 more shaves to get back to normal with it.

While we did not win last night's lottery, this is still a great start to a Sunday.

Starting with a damp rather than wet knot, I ended up with a much better lather than yesterday's. That didn't take too long to dial in at all.

My back is a little stiff this morning as I spent a good bit of time Saturday and Sunday (about 7 sessions) "un-shoveling" the snow piles back onto my driveway to melt in the very nice weather we had. My mounds'o'snow are now almost gone.
