Carrying on with the Supply V2 but with the three dot plate today. Maiden voyage was with the Classic or two dot plate so I was anxious to see a difference. I will report that though it did shave a bit closer on the first pass WTG I really didn’t notice much. More on that in a bit.

Soap of the day Henri et Victoria Fall’s Lumberjack or just Lumberjack on the new packaging. Rainy morning today and so a little walk through the cedar forest seemed like a plan. Well the scent anyway.

Lovely three pass DFS/BBS. Only the second shave with the V2 and still need to figure out the angle. It is well built and enjoyable to use but as a dedicated DE user I am going to need a bit more time to dial it in.

H et V Cognac and Cuban Cigars has a truly exquisite scent and performs admirably, particularly if you like setting your face on fire.
Well I am sorry that such a wonderful scent = napalm death to your face. I have not had a scent yet come across my bow that caused a reaction but its still early....

Glad you and the Supply are playing nicely! It was a nice, hearty razor, but I just couldn’t come away usually without some battle damage and the head is just super bulky.

Yeah I have read a few folks had issues with it and some videos I have seen have showed nicks and weapers etc. I have not had any issues with it yet. Though I think El Jefe scared my skin into submission so no worries on everything else. :D

Well it’s been a minute! Just back from two weeks in Jamaica and reluctantly getting back into the swing of things. I travelled with the Merkur 34C and 34G, Stirling Orange Chill and Weekend in Malibu with the matching AS. Spectacular shaves.

Let the beard grow out for a bit since my return home but I have just the ticket for that recipe! The Beast is exactly the implement of destruction required to mow down four days growth. Loaded with a fresh Super Max Blue Diamond this razor is just about perfect for me.

I had a run of some heavy hitters prior to heading to the Caribbean and going “mild” with the Merkur so it was nice to see just how beastly the Muhle R41 could be. It is efficient and I really enjoyed a super close, two pass shave. BBS and no need to chase it either.

Well @woodpusher this boy is tanned as tanned can be...far too much for the lens me thinks! Glad to be home all!

Take care and safe travels!

Boy oh boy getting off the plane from MoBay in shorts...was NOT expecting the snow that was for sure! Too early indeed! But this is Canada and winter happens...every year. However, I have some chicken marinating in some fine spicy jerk sauce...not giving up quite yet!

It was a phenomenal vacation. Appleton Estate tour was wonderful and even met their Master Blender Joy Spence! Lots of pics but I’d rather not break any monitors! 😂

Welcome back Ed! Hope it was a nice vacation. All the way to Jamaica just to visit that one bar though? :p
