Well in the world of “morning scents” there is nothing that quite equals the arrival of a new day like the smell of a fresh pot of coffee brewing. It means I woke up on the right side of the grass! So when I was reading the description of CBL Breakfast Blend I knew it was going to be a winner for me! It so very much is!

I recently picked A&E Cafe au Lait with the matching AS and love the combo. Besides slapping on a shot of expresso (thanks Chris for the suggestion) I was a bit stumped for an AS match. Trolling around one of my favourite venders I spotted an AS that would work Declaration Grooming Scrumtrulescent which is a wonderful blend of coffee and chocolate! Man, they aren’t kidding what an incredible scent! Now I have to track that soap down. But I digress....

What an incredible soap and AS combo! CBL soaps are fantastic and this is no different, great slickness and lather with a fresh coffee forward scent. The AS is a fantastic topper. Got through a wonderful two pass shave and back on the road we go. Hours later, sipping my coffee in the car and that wonderful coffee and chocolate scent still lingers.

Thanks @CBLindsay for making another winner and sharing it with all of us!

It is, in my experience, the most savage razor I’ve encountered. I was following you were trying aggressive razors, and that Micromatic was the beastliest!
Oh yes “trying” the ones I have! That doesn’t seem “aggressive” it seems deadly! :p Face Sushi? Ne-Ne!

It lingers that long? I'm disappointed in DG's Lemon, which fades fast. Great lemony flavor, just didn't last for me. DG splashes definitely agree with my skin, though.

Yeah I was surprised too. Still a faint trace left. First use of DG AS and I agree it is pretty good skin food that is for sure!

I know it’s Fall but the sun is shining here and so I wanted something with a Citrus kick to it so Stirling Satsuma it is! Fresh citrusy goodness with a bit of spice in there. Another “jam-the-beak-in-tub” worthy scent!

Today’s razor, the mighty Merkur 37C loaded up with a Voskhod. As of late most slant shaves have been with the iKon X3 which has become my favourite among slants! Not today. Great razor and blade combo for me.

Through a lovely two pass DFS/BBS and topped it all off with Acqua di Parma Colonia! On to the weekend we go!

New week and a new razor to try! I really haven’t been excited for a new razor in quite a bit but the Supply V2 really caught my eye and as I have no other Schick type SE I figured why not?! So today I loaded a new Schick blade into this polished beauty and gave it a go.

Today’s soap Henri et Victoria Cognac and Cuban Cigars. So good a scent and an amazing performing soap. Really enjoyed using this today and honestly really liking the tobacco and leather scents lately.

So I got through a very easy two pass shave with the “classic” or two dot plate. Close and comfortable with zero nicks or irritation. The angle took a little to get used to but no issues. I have the mild (one) and aggressive (three dot) plate which I will try next. I figure this week will be dedicated to the Supply V2!
