The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man

I'm sure it’s the old. But not very motivated to try any more either. I’m also not a fan of soap makers that have multiple formulas (Razorock anyone?). I like to know what to expect, and just get the same soap in different scents.

I'm with you...find something that works and stick with it. However, if a soap maker can improve their soap, go for it. I heard that the Grooming Dept old formula wasn't that great, but the new formula is exceptional. Like you, I'm not sure I am willing to go out of my way to try.

I guess the one thing that would be nice is if everyone did like SV and noted what version of their formula each soap was.

Greetings, True Believers! It's your old pal Spider-Man.

Today was a no shave day for me. This is a rarity for me, but yesterday was a very long day, and I did not get enough sleep to adequately recover, and I was a bit slower this morning getting around, so I decided to skip.

Why so tired?

I rode my motorcycle to work, and started the day quite normally. Then, two hours into work, I left, and rode to my tattooer's studio, which is an hour away. That's the longest stretch I've ridden my motorcycle at one time, so far (only been riding for about a month). Then I sat down for another 6 hour session on my Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy sleeve. After that was done I had another hour drive back, but could not go home. Instead I had to go directly to the VFW for our weekly bingo night. Where I worked until about 10pm. By the time I got home, I was exhausted. It doesn't seem like much, but my brain was definitely hurting.

Here are the results of yesterday's work:

I'm still in awe of his work. It's turning out better than I expected.

Nice stuff KJ. I am personally not a tattoo fan, but I can recognize art... your tattoo artist is doing a very good job!

You can't tell me that the three owners didn't agree to get a tat of the TSC logo? I might suggest the left butt cheek is a nice fleshy spot.

Dang, an hour ride after dealing with that? I might skip tomorrow too!

The tattoos don’t bother me that much. I fell asleep during my first session. The worst part was the smiley, on my inner bicep. That one stung. And that’s the only one I felt on the ride home.

Nice choice of ink KJ, and uh NO owners tats and that real estate you speak of is already occupied by the green feet shown below, LOL

Great theme and ink!

Be careful out there on that iron horse. I used to ride every day to work, except ice days. With that, rally’s and road trips, the Mrs and I averaged about 20k miles a year.

We rode for about 12 years and had a lot of brothers go down. My last ride was going to work. I got bumped from behind in traffic and dumped the bike. No injuries due to slow traffic, but I had enough of Dallas drivers.

The work is looking good, KJ! I am definitely interested in getting a bike of my own at some point. What kind of scooter did you end up with?

Beautiful bike.

Riding a motorcycle through Hue in Vietnam was one of the most fun things I have ever done. I hope you get many years of fun and enjoyment out of that bike.

Never had a proper motorcycle, but have had a couple scooters. A piaggio and a Honda elite. Passing the motorcycle test was a breeze except for that part where you have to get up to speed and stop by a certain spot. The scooter couldn’t go fast enough.. they gave me a pass.

So, I'm weaning myself back into using straights. I'm doing this by using shavettes for the time being. After I rebuild my confidence and muscle memory with them, I'll evaluate my straights. Not sure how many of them are shave ready at the moment. Then, I'll start working on honing those that aren't. (Have some stones on loan from CBL).

So, for the last few shaves I've been enjoying my "Peter" Parker razor with Mystic Water Soap. MW's slickness is great for straights, and the post shave really helps calm my skin from any irritation post shave.

Yesterday, after work, I went to an Amish Greenhouse and stocked up on some plants to put in my garden. Tonight, I'm going to till my garden 1 more time, and prep the rows for my plants. Hopefully I can get everything I just bought into the ground tonight, then I'll have 1 more day of garden work, putting seeds into the ground for everything else.

Here is what I bought yesterday.
Tomatoes, 4 varieties including roma and cherry.
Peppers, At least 6 varieties, including Habanero, and some purple peppers.
Watermelon
Zucchini, Summer Squash, Spaghetti Squash, Acorn Squash, and 1 other variety.
Cabbage, Kohlrabi
Asparagus
Strawberries
Rosemary, Thyme, Oregano, Sage (3 varieties), and basil.

The prices at the Amish greenhouse are amazing. Vegetables come in a 4Pk for $1.25 That was everything above except the Herbs, Asparagus and Strawberries. I spent just over $50 for everything above. Once everything is in the ground, I'll post pics.

A Peter Parker Parker razor? Whaaaat? That’s pretty cool! ?

Good luck with replenishing the garden.
