I can’t tell from the photo, but the v1 will have a flat faced cap, the v2 cap is rounded.I’m not sure if this is version 1 or the current version of the razor.
This would be V1 then. It definitely has the flat faced cap.Fun photo today Steve!

Thanks Jim lol. Yeah I love my Wild West Brushworks Badger. His handles are awesome, and the badger knot is great. I think it shed about 3 hairs total and whips up a great lather. I'm not sure where he sources his knots from though...Good stuff, 3 Names, even for a Philly resident, lol! Nice to see the Wild West Brushworks getting some love. I bought one for my wife and loved it so much I ended up getting my own.
It came out of an opened pack/injector...whatever you call it lol. So it wasn't used, but It I don't know how old the blades are if that even makes a difference. WHen I loaded the blade there was NOT an old blade already in it that was being replaced. Was there a blade already installed in the injector when you got it?
Most injectors are meant to have a blade constantly loaded into the razor. The new blade should always be pushing out the old one. If there isn’t, usually the first one loaded in is a throw-away because as it loads the edge can grate against the blade clips and ruin the sharpness. Might want to try loading another blade if it was super rough today.WHen I loaded the blade there was NOT an old blade already in it that was being replaced.
It looks like maybe there was a lever or a piece that was there but maybe it broke off. I'll take a picture of the underside when I get home.Nice Injectah Steve. Looks like my I2 Hydromatic. Does t have a lever uncer the head to release the blade. If it does I think you have an I1, if not it may be an I1
This could be the issue haha. There wasn't a blade already loaded. I only have the one blade though. I'll have to grab a new pack and see if there's an improvement with a new blade in it.Most injectors are meant to have a blade constantly loaded into the razor. Oh ok. That’s what this one looks like. I thiught There was a piece missing between lever that you pulled out and the piece coming from the head of the razor because of the gap in between them. It just looked like something was missing haha.
I - 2 and this is NOT a bingo callSo which model is this @Dave in KY ?
