I thought this was a possibility. I'll try to just lather them tonight and see if there's an improvement. Otherwise, we'er talking about Wholly Kaw and Stirling here, so the performance is top notch even without a scent!

The Game Changer delivers yet again! 3 Pass DFS+, no nicks, no weepers, no complaints!
Another new soap and this one I could definitely smell! The Somali Rose scent is just awesome. Everyone knows I can't describe a scent to save my life, but I can say that's great! I was a bit worried about the lather because it seemed a bit airier than normal, but it was slick as could be and since there were no issues I guess it also had enough cushion. All in all a fantabulous shave!
In Other News...
My Pilot Metropolitan fountain pen arrived today and I'm surprised at how easy it was to adapt to using it. I've elaborated on it a bit more in the Pens and Inks thread if you want to read there.

Last night Willie had a case of the itchy ears, so he needed to get some ear drops to clean them out. He usually hates this, so we were surprised when he let us do it without any fight at all. We were a little concerned with how easy it was to put the drops in, but then when he immediately went and sat in front of the cookie jar afterwards we knew he was fine lol! His ears must have been really bothering him!

Took a page out of @MilkCrate 's book and woke up late today so no open blade pass
The GC delivered a solid DFS on a 2 pass shave in a hurry, so no complaints today!
The Lavender Concerto is still not really smelling like anything. Maybe it's me, but this is the second use and I intentionally used the Stirling Kong to whip up some extra lather and get under that top layer of soap like @Dave in KY suggested. Still smells the same to me

Probably going to hit the community pool tomorrow and enjoy a day without (hopefully) rain.

Woke up a little later than planned today so no open blade pass. I did however, have the best shave with a DE since I started using one. Maybe this is a grail shave? Not sure, but I’m JSDSBBS and I only had a slight tingle from the alum. No irritation at all. No weepers. All good. I’ll let you guys try to figure out the meaning of the acronym.

Erica, Anthony and I went to the Phillies game today. Today was Ryan Howard’s retirement game as he officially retired as a Philadelphia Phillie. Great ceremony although it was a hot one today! Phils won on a walk-off homer in the bottom of the 9th by Mikail Franco. Great game!

Willie has to stay home while were at the game, but he did get a peanut butter filled Kong toy. So he was happy lol.
