Yesterday was extremely busy at work and I didn't have time to post an update. I didn't really need to shave yesterday because I was still DFS+ from the day before, but I couldn't help myself lol. Walked away BBS for the second consecutive day which has never happened before. Today I had a little more growth but in trying out a brush from the mystery box I think I went a little too wet and didn't really get the best lather. So I have a little bit of irritation, nothing visible but I can feel it. Still a decent shave though.

The mystery box arrived yesterday and wow.....I don't know how all this stuff fit in there! I've got my eye on a few things, but I'll grab my keepers soon and add a few more goodies.

Willie World:
Willie was a little upset that the box wasn't for him! There must be something in it that he thinks smells like food because he just sat and cried while watching me go through everything lol.

Did the fountain pen slow you down?
Haha no, just a lot of extra work coming in from recent local flooding. A lot of cars were totaled out so now I'm getting the vehicle titles to process for the insurance companies that we deal with at our auction. Hopefully I'll be back to my normal workload in a week or so.

Late entry today. Work has continued to stay busy, and I met with a new potential investor client last night to look at a few properties as well. So between homework from that and the heavier than usual workload at the day job, I haven’t had a ton of time to play on the interweb at work lol.

The shave went as usual with the GC. Walked away DFS+. No complaints here.

The mystery badger is working out well. Yesterday I must have hit the soap with the brush still a little too wet, and my lather was less than great but manageable. Today I shook it out a little better and man did it deliver a great lather. I’m sure the CBL soap helped that as well! And I would also imagine that if yesterday’s soap had not been of the Stirling variety, the results would have been much worse.

The new investor client seems to have his stuff together a lot better than the other guy I’ve been showing properties to. He’s also got a few full flips under his belt so he knows what to expect. We seemed to hit it off so hopefully this ends up being a long lasting relationship!

Willie World:
The heat index is 105 for the next 2 days and then its predicted to hit 110. Willie needs a kiddie pool and a cold beer...ok maybe I need the cold beer.

Shave Time!

Razor:
RR Hawk
Blade: Feather Pro (3)
Brush: WWBW Jingle 2 Band Badger
Soap: CBL Oud Minerale
AS: Aqua Velva Ice Blue

First time with the Hawk this morning. I’m not sure if this is version 1 or the current version of the razor. It’s not as efficient as the General that’s for sure. Probably not as good as the Game Changer either. But it is very smooth. During the shave and post shave was very comfortable. I only did a 2 pass today, but I walked away DFS + on the cheeks and DFS- on the neck. Not too bad considering how smooth the razor was. For me the trade off was worth it. I’ll be keeping this razor in mind for days when I need a less aggressive shave due to irritation and such.

Oud Minerale wasn’t my favorite when it first arrived with the Anniversary brush, but’s it’s really grown on me. I feel like each time I use it, the scent gets stronger and stronger.

Not much going on here. We got some more heavy rain last night which put the Phillies game into a delay for a few hours. Otherwise, business as usual.

Willie World:
Same with Willie. But sometimes no news is good news. That means he hasn’t destroyed anything recently lol.
