Steve's Journal: The Saga Continues....

Nice, GC for the win!

Bravo to the stepson! Foreign missions are good, but it’s also nice to remember and help take care of the local needs too!
Thanks Chris! Yeah he really enjoyed it, he’s a good kid.
Very nice shave! That GC seems to be treating you right.
Lots of love for the Game Changer. Might be time for a blind buy. Very nice set up and shave.

The GC is awesome. It just really works for me on every level. Efficiency, smoothness, looks...and the price wasn’t bad either! If you can swing it, I highly recommend it.

Nice shave yesterday and it seems that the Gamechanger has had consistent talk around here!

Take it easy on Willie, he might have to build up his endurance if he is not used to taking long walks! And make sure you keep his bare paws off the hot concrete! We have had a rash of stupid dog owners (not saying you are stupid at all...I just realized how that sounded :)) who have been walking their dogs on super hot concrete and asphalt and have had to take their pets to the vet because their pads are severely burned!

Thanks Don. Get you one!

Yeah there are a lot of dog owners that don't even think about the hot concrete and asphalt. I always pick him up and carry him across the street. Once we're on the other side he'll stick to the grass for the most part. And you're absolutely right about the walks. I wouldn't make him do too much without working him up to it first....Let's be honest, I need to work myself up a bit too 😂 😂 😂. I'm so out of shape it isn't funny. At least I have high metabolism to keep me at least looking somewhat fit lol!

Shave Time!

Razor:
Diane shavette/RR GC .84P
Blade: Personna hair shaper/Derby Premium
Brush: TSC 1st Anniversary Sorrentino Cashmere
Soap: Wholly Kaw Lavender Concerto
AS: Avon Spicy

Today saw the return of the shavette, and my face didn’t really like it lol. Still sticking with only the 1st WTG pass, it went smoothly, but afterwards was a bit rough. I’ll stick with it, though I may switch to every other day. The GC came through as usual and cleaned everything up to a nice DFS+.

The Wholly Kaw Lavender Concerto was a bit disappointing. I didn’t get much Lavender from it, mostly just an unscented bar soap smell. I always leave my soaps out on the shelf open to dry out during the day though. When I got home today the scent was definitely starting to come out. So that has me wondering, maybe these soaps have sat for too long and need to be broken in so to speak. Maybe blooming could help bring the scents out. This is the 3rd of the soaps from the PIF that I received from @dkeester that hasn’t really smelled like anything, but they weren’t all like that. So I’m not sure. And I would also like to say that I am definitely not complaining! Scent or not I’m still able to test performance on a few soaps I haven’t previously tried. So that’s cool too!

In Other News...
Not much going on tonight. Probably just watching another episode of Stranger Things Season 3. We’re almost done.

Willie World:
Current situation: cuddled in my lap watching an episode of Cheers.

Interesting you aren’t getting much scent off the pucks/tubs. I suspect it’s mostly personal sensitivity to whatever fragrance it is, not that it’s lost any scent. Most of those should be too new to have had that happen, I would think.

I'm thinking the same thing, they can't be that old. Probably just my sniffer not working
