The scent really does change once you apply it. I thought it was headed in the right direction, it just didn't have enough time to dry down.

So the plan was to use The Veg again today to see how it dries down, but plans changed. I was still half asleep and rushing, and well you can probably guess that this shave didn't go so well. I got a nice slice on the 'stache as I was re positioning, and a few weepers on the neck. Since I was already kind of let down with the rough shave I didn't want to take the chance that I would also not like the way The Veg reacted to me. So I just went with the Wicked AS and called it a day. I was thinking the Wicked scent would pair fairly well with The Veg too,. I guess we'll have to find out another day. Walked away DFS but with some irritation and some blood loss, but it hasn't happened in a while so I'm not too mad about it.
In Other News...
Still going back and forth on the current real estate deal. I'm thinking we'll either be signing contracts today, or my buyer will move on. There are plenty of houses out there, but this one is in the town and neighborhood he's been looking for. Fingers crossed....
Last night we went to the local pub for dinner and one of the Phillies broadcasters was sitting at the table next to us. That was pretty cool. We didn't want to make a big deal because he was there with his kids, so we didn't bother him. We also met him 2 years ago in Clearwater and did tequila shots with him. He's a fun guy lol.
Willie World:
I tried to put a blanket under the plastic floor in WIllie's crate so it had a little give to it. I thought it might be more comfortable for him but I guess he didn't like the way it felt when he first tried to step in. He would walk all the way into the crate and was hesitant to even put his front feet down. So I took it out, and he walked right in. I thought it might be better on his back, but I guess I'll have to try to think of something else.

:: puts arm around Steve* :: Now Steve. It’s important for you to really understand this. Those guys that say the veg smells good on them. Well, they just talk themselves into believing it’s true. They want to be special. But wanting things doesn’t really make it true.
This is just what people who are not chosen say to make themselves feel better. everyone wants to be chosen or they wouldn't have tried it.
Do you really understand your delirium?? I have seen Knight's Envy, but WOW LOL j/k

Second Shave Of The Day Edition!
Razor: Diane Barber Straight/G2 Fatboy
Blade: Personna hair shaker/WilkinsonSword

I have the house to myself tonight because Erica decided last minute to get tickets to see Justin Timberlake. She found them cheap on Stub Hub and pulled the trigger. I told her to take Anthony with her since he really likes him, plus I went with her last time. He’s a great performer and I’m glad I saw him, but once was enough for me lol.
So with some extra time on my hands I decided to get some open blade practice. I ended up doing one pass and the switching to the Fatboy. The WTG pass was the best I’ve had so far with the barber straight, but I really need to get more practice in.
The rest of the night has been spent watching the Phillies blow a 6-1 lead. We are now still trying to get out of the top of the 9th inning tied at 6...

I also forgot to mention that in a previous shave...it seems also not logged...I used a sample of Tiki Davy Jones Locker that was sent to me by @Shavewizard420. The performance was great and I couldn’t quite place the scent, but I definitely liked it. Thanks Brad!
I also wanted to give @uacowboy another shout out for the absolutely fantastic work he did on my father’s Pearl Dubl Duck.
Originally thought to be my grandfather’s, this was actually my father’s. He only used it in barber school so he didn’t realize it was his until we found my grandfather’s. When he saw it he was absolutely blown away. He said if he shaves with a straight he wouldn’t give it back lol! Kyle you did an amazing job!
