So a quick update. I did have a couple of good shaves the last few days but haven’t had time to post here. I’ve still been trying to keep up with everyone else’s journals and some other assorted threads when I can.
Willie is starting to have issues with his back again, so we’ve been really tied up with him. He’s on strict rest for right now. That means that we’re pretty much just carrying him wherever he needs to go and holding him so he doesn’t walk, run, or jump the rest of the time. This morning he seemed a little bit better, but we need to keep a close eye on him.

Oh...sorry to hear Willie isn't doing well. I know your wife is a Vet Tech and all...but seriously you should look into acupuncture for him. Just a thought.

Thanks guys. He seems to be doing a little better this morning. @dangerousdon Erica is looking in to the acupuncture. A friend of a friend knows a doctor in PA that does it so we’re going to contact them and see.
It's at least worth a look. My dachshund Chauncey was basically paralyzed in his hind two legs. The acupuncture brought the inflammation down enough for him to heal and he is now a happy old guy acting like a puppy. I would have never believed that it works if I hadn't experienced it myself. The teach acupuncture classes at the LSU vet school now...so it is picking up some mainstream medicine speed also. My sister in law had her beagle go through it to relieve some symptoms of his cancer. Obviously it didn't cure the doggie...but it did give him a better quality of life. I can talk to you offline if you would like about my experience and some of the other things we have done for him if you would like.
