Steve's Journal: The Saga Continues....

Fun times.... I really hate baseball, but I still enjoy going to games and being part of the experience. Looks like some good scenery there.

Citizens Bank Park is a beautiful stadium. If you're ever in Philly and can catch a game, I highly recommend it. This year they added a new cheesesteak place and a beer garden.

Brush: Stirling Boar
Soap: RR Santal Royale

Good shave today. Still sticking with the Stirling hardware simply because it's working for me. DFS and no complaints. But the real news today is...THE CADRE ANNIVERSARY BRUSH CAME TODAY!!!!! I know what I'll be using tomorrow...

In Other News:
I showed a house for the second time to an investor client...and then he got his car stuck in the front yard. There were other people there to see the house when we got there and it's on a county highway so he parked just off the driveway so they could get out. The ground was a little wet and he got stuck and I had to call a tow truck to pull him out...luckily I know people in the business! Oh....also...THE ANNIVERSARY BRUSH CAME TODAY!!!!!

Willie World:
Willie and I are currently in snuggle mode on the couch watching The Rolling Stones Ole Ole Ole-A Trip Across Latin America on Netflix. We're both huge Keef fans!

OOH...hope the client getting stuck didn't hurt your chances with selling a property. Sounds like Willie has a good deal going right now!

It did because his wife is very superstitious lol! But it looks like he’s leaning towards a slightly higher priced property now which is good for my commission haha. I think It’s a better deal for him anyway because that property is also already occupied by tenants and will immediately start making him money.

So after a busy weekend I’m finally getting around to posting these entries. The Anniversary brush is amazing. Such great craftsmanship by @Smattayu. Of course I’m a little biased, but I like mine the best haha.

I used the @CBLSoap.com Oud Minerale that came with the Anniversary bundle on Saturday. As expected the performance was elite. The scent is very light, and very familiar. I can’t quite place it, but I recongnize it from somewhere. This is a good scent to throw with an AS you don’t really have a great match for since it’s so light. Good stuff.

The following 2 shaves were close to each other, just a razor/blade swap.

As for the brush, this synthetic cashmere knot is only the second synth I’ve ever used but it performed excellently. Super soft, floppy enough to have some give, but springy enough to do what it needs to do. Loaded both soaps with ease and worked up a great lather directly on the face. It’s gonna be hard to pick between this and my 2 band Badger by Wild West Brushworks on a daily basis! Since it’s the new toy I’m sure it will get a lot of use for the time being lol.

In Other News...

The weekend was filled with Phillies games, both at the stadium and watching at the local Pub, showing houses, and putting together an offer for a client. I’m so far behind on everyone’s journals, and the forums in general, but I plan on trying to get caught up over the next few days.

Willie World:
Friday and Saturday saw temps hitting the 70’s and Willie was loving it. He was going to the door to go for a walk every 15 minutes! Then Sunday came...and we went back down to the low 40’s. He’s not happy about this, and neither am I since I take him for most of his walks!

Love the look of yours and @Spider 's especially......................................except for mine being best that is.
I remember games at the old Vet Stadium. Sounds like you had fun (y)
Believe it or not I actually miss The Vet sometimes lol. Citizens Bank Park (The Bank) is really nice though.
Guess it means everyone's happy, it's a good thing.................................and I'm the only one that's right :ROFLMAO:
I think you're right about everyone being happy. Pretty cool how that worked out.

Man I hate it when the weather is a tease like that. You know deep down inside it can't really be over yet, but when that oddball early warm day comes, you want to believe so bad.
