Shave Time!
Double entry. No shave on Monday.
Sunday:
Razor: Rockwell 6c Plate 4
Blade: Ladas Super Stainless (9)
Brush: Stirling Kong Synthetic
Soap: WSP Mahogany
AS: Stetson
Tuesday:
Razor: Rockwell 6c Plate 4
Blade: Ladas Super Stainless (10)

I had to skip Monday's shave because we got some snow again. Not as much as they were calling for, but enough to make it an annoyance. About 3". So I shaved Sunday night in order to give myself some extra time Monday morning. I also went with a 4 pass again to try to extend the life of the shave. It worked out pretty well. I was DFS into Monday evening which is a win in my book.
Today's shave was also a bit rushed because we woke up to more snow. Only about an inch, and it was raining so not much to clean off the car, but I still wanted to allow some extra time to get to work. I only went with a 2 pass shave today and walked away DFS+. I did however, forget to use an AS today! I was in such a rush to get all the animals situated before I left that I just plain forgot. The WSP Mahogany scent is still lingering though, which I really like, and the post shave feel is pretty good as well. I'm starting to think maybe I should have gotten the Mahogany soap/AS set instead of Blackbeard (ordered yesterday). The Blackbeard is limited edition though, so I can always go back for the Mahogany later.
The Ladas Super Stainless feels like it may finally be losing some of its sharpness, but it's still giving a comfortable and relatively close shave. I feel that I can definitely stretch a while longer. Possibly the rest of the month unless it takes a quick decline. Time will tell....
In Other News...
Not much going on otherwise. Work has been quiet. Unfortunately the real estate business has been quiet as well, but with spring coming hopefully things pick up.

Last night Willie was little ball of energy. He wanted to play all night last night. He's gonna sleep all day today!

Sounds like Willie is a happy guy! I have forgot to put on some aftershave myself from time to time. I really hate it when I do that as the glug and splash portion of my shave is one of my favorites!\n\n

\n\nI haven\'t tried a Kai blade yet, but I do like those in other razors. So far my favorite has been the Parker. But I’ve gotten good shaves from Voskhod and Ladas as well. I didn\'t have the best experience with Astra SP, but I do want to revisit that one.\n\n

Soap: Oz Shaving Co. Wicked
AS: Oz Shaving Co. Wicked
The Ladas is definitely losing it's sharpness, but still very comfortable. I was still able to get DFS with only 2 passes. Very little irritation, but that could just be user error. I decided to try something different on my second pass and went directly against the grain on my neck instead of a hybrid XTG/ATG like I usually do. I didn't notice a difference in closeness and was left with just a touch of irritation in one area. But I guess that could still be due to the blade not being as sharp as it could be. Either way I'm not complaining and will continue to keep pushing this blade until it's not comfortable anymore.
In Other News...
The missus and I went out for dinner and drinks last night at the local pub, and it happened to be trivia night. We didn't enter the contest because we didn't think we would stay for the entire thing...we should have though. We ended up staying for the whole thing, and if we had played we would have won. Between the 2 of us we only 5 questions wrong!
