Steve's Journal: The Saga Continues....

Shave Time!

I've been pretty busy the last few days and have fallen a bit behind around here. Hopefully withing the next day or so I can get caught back up on everyone else's posts. Here's my 2 shave update....

Wednesday:

Razor: Rockwell 6C Plate 4
Blade: Ladas Super Stainless (5)
Brush: WWBW Jingle 2 Band Badger
Soap: WSP Barbershop
AS: WSP Barbershop

Thursday:

Razor: Rockwell 6c Plate 4
Blade: Ladas Super Stainless (6)
Brush: WWBW Jingle 2 Band Badger
Soap: Razorock Mudder Focker
AS: Aqua Velva Ice Blue

Still going strong on the Ladas blade with no noticeable difference in the quality of the shave. Getting mixed DFS/BBS results and little to no irritation. I'm starting to think that I was wasting blades everytime I changed one out after 3 or 4 shaves!

The Jingle 2 Band Badger has solidified it's spot as my favorite brush. It delivers everytime. I have a feeling the breaking in of the Stirling Boar is going to be put off for a little while. Especially since it was shedding like crazy and really not producing great lathers.

In Other News....
I saw the cardiologist yesterday and he seems to think the palpatations and light headedness are not related and probably nothing to be too concerned about. He still has me wearing a Holter monitor for 24 hours, scheduled and echo-cardiogram and a tilt test, just to rule out any other issues.

Willie World:
Willie was enjoying the 50-60 degree temps, but it looks like they're going to dip back into the 30's again in the next few days. He's going to be a Chilly Willie again ???

Glad nothing serious going on Steve, but hope they can find a solution for the symptoms too. Hang in there Willie, sorings around the corner

Welcome me to the future! Good shaves!

How did this happen? I left the Delorian at home today!
Winner! Always nice when a day of the week is lost.

I was was pretty excited when I realized tomorrow is Friday

There’s a possibility it might just be something I have to deal with. Luckily it’s not a constant thing.

Good to hear about the ticker Steve! I know I had palpitations a while back and probably should have seen the doc at that point in time. I didn't...but then I lost weight and started walking...and eating better and they went away. I am sure the docs will figure it out!

Double Update:

Friday:

Razor: Rockwell 6c Plate 4
Blade: Ladas Super Stainless (7)
Brush: WWBW Jingle 2 Band Badger
Soap: Razorock Blue Fougere
AS: Razorock Blue Fougere

Saturday:

Razor:
Rockwell 6c Plate 4
Blade:
Ladas Super Stainless (8)
Brush:
WWBW Jingle 2 Band Badger
Soap:
WSP Blackbeard
AS 1:
Stirling Tea Tree Witch Hazel & Aloe
AS 2: Fine L'Orange Noir

The Ladas Super Stainless is still going stronk. 8 shaves in and no noticeable difference yet. Still getting DFS-BBS shaves and little to no irritation. I did have 2 very small weepers today, but one was from an ingrown hair and the other was from me going to fast in one spot and digging in too much. Otherwise nothing really to report. Today's shave has an accompanying video over on my video thread if anyone is interested. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Stronk power!

But weepers with the 6c? What are we going to do with this tinkerbell?
