Mostly a musty unpleasant scent at first haha. But after scooping out a small amount and letting it sit for a bit, it had developed into something a lot better. I’m bad at describing scents, but I would imagine the pleasantness that I’m starting to get from it is mostly the tobacco. I can only assume the initial unpleasantness was the moist dirt and moss ?

Shave Time!
I did the unthinkable tonight...I used a Feather!
Razor: Razorock Tech II
Blade: Feather Hi-Stainless
Brush: Stirling Kong Synthetic
Soap: Razorock Mudder Focker
AS: Razorock Blue
Not sure what came over me. I swapped out the Gillette 7 O’Clock Super Stainless for a Feather. I didn't go too bad. I ended up DFS above the jaw, but CCS at best below. Not sure what’s going on but I feel like my ability to get close on the neck is declining.
On the the plus side, I was able to tame the Feather and walk away leaving all the sticky red stuff on the inside. That’s a win in my book!
Willie Update:
He May have overworked himself the last few days. His back legs looked a bit weak today, so we’re only letting him walk to go outside for the next few days. That won’t be easy I’m sure, but it’ll help him in the long run.

Shave Time!
Quick entry today as we were out shopping this afternoon and now my cousin is on his way over for some adult beverages.
Same set up as yesterday. I gave the Feather blade another shot and it didn’t disappoint. Minimal to zero irritation and DFS+ all around.
I think I figured out why I wasnt getting as close of a shave the last few times. I realized I stop Doing the Gillette Slide and stopped J-Hooking. Those 2 things really seem to help me out so I went back to them today. I’m thinking it may be time for me to finally try a slant razor.
I still I’ll have a few weird trouble spots that I can't seem to get close on. A random spot directly on the jaw line and on the neck/chin just to the right and left of the center of my chin. But I can’t really complain. This Feather/Tech II combo seems to be another winning combo for me.
Also picked this up in tge travels today:

I had a nice late morning shave today...
Razor: Razorock Tech II
Blade: Feather
Brush: Kingsley Pure Badger
Soap: WSP Barbershop
AS: Nivea Sensitive ASB/WSP Barbershop
Took another spin with the Feather today. Another DFS+ all around. I think this is a great razor/blade combo for me.
I didn't realize that we have moved on into December, so I’ll be switching razors tomorrow for another month long rotation....or I might switch up all month. I’m not sure yet, but either way I don't have a ton to choose from. So we’ll see what happens.
The Nivea ASB was a nice addition. I’m glad I picked it up. It does have a very weak scent to it, but the WSP AS was able to overpower it.
Had to get up and get some things done around the house today before having a guys night with the father-in-law. He got court side tickets to the Sixers/Grizzlies game and was kind enough to bring me. Awesome seats! The Sixers held the lead all game and came out on top! I don’t really follow the NBA, but I might start. It was a really good game.

Can’t keep this little guy down! He’s getting stronger every day, and subsequently becoming harder to keep rested haha. He thinks he’s back to 100%, but he still has a ways to go.
