Shave Time!

Razor:
Stirling DE3P
Blade: Derby Premium
Brush: Mystery Badger
Soap: B&M Chesire
AS: Clubman

2 days in a row?!? What’s going on here??? Lol
First time out with the B&M Chesire. I received this as a gift from my brother in law a while ago and completely forgot I had it. Performance wise it’s up there, as is probably expected with B&M soaps. The scent reminds me of PAA Atomic Age Bay Rum, I’m guessing it’s the patchouli. Other scent notes listed are Tea and Bergamot, but all I got was the patchouli. Not bad but since it’s so similar to AA Bay Rum I probably won’t replace it.

Work is work. Still down to a reasonable pace and workload, but from what I’m told 2 potential new customers in the next few months may change that 🤦🏻‍♂️ At least we have some staff though lol.

Willie World:
So the master of disaster’s newest morning routine is waiting until no one is looking and then chewing his makeshift bed of blankets we have laid out for him on the floor in the corner of the dining room (he really likes that corner for some reason). He used to just get up, go out, eat, and the turn himself into a doggie burrito in the blankets. Now those blankets look like Swiss cheese!

Our dachshund does the same thing if she’s crated by herself. Anything in reach gets shredded! Those little weenie dog body’s hold a lot of aggression, that’s for sure! 😂

Today’s shave was a little rough. Probably because I’ve been in the habit of shaving once every 3 days or so for the last couple of months. I don’t think my skin is used to a more daily routine. Im sure it’ll adjust.
The Crowne and Crane Deep Ellum to me seems like a vetiver scent, but im awful with scents. I just know what I like! This is a very light scent both strength and scent wise. A good option if you want to go in a different direction with your aftershave. The tub art is pretty cool too!

The lawn needs mowing so I’ll probably have to do that after work…maybe I’ll even leave early to get it done and over with. It’s stupid hot today so we’ll see.

The Phillies crapped the bed again last night…such a frustrating team. Is it football season yet? Not that the Eagles will do much better 😂😂😂

Willie World:
Willie was getting on momma’s last nerve last night. He was full of energy out of nowhere at about 9:30 and was grabbing every pillow within in reach. I tried to wear him out by throwing his favorite toy around but that wasn’t quite cutting it. Hopefully he’ll behave tonight, but I’m not holding breath!

I ran across that vendor website and they had no samples. I was wanting to try that one and a couple of others. Thanks for the review.

772A2038-4539-4256-A325-2C63666BB1EA.jpegI had some extra time with a late morning shave today and decided to take a straight out for a spin. @Maryland998 generously PIF’d me this razor, however he left the edge a mystery. It’s been so long since I’ve used a straight, so I’m not sure if this is his patented Shogun Edge or something different. I only used it for my first N to S pass, but it was very smooth and efficient. I probably could have stop after that one pass and been DFS-, but what’s the fun in that?😜

The WSP Mahogany is one of my favorite scents. A great masculine cologne-y type of scent, but to me it’s better suited for colder weather. Since we’re not in the 90’s today, I decided it’s cold enough! It’s so good I triple glugged it (@dangerousdon teaching me bad* habits!)

Off to a wedding today to see one of my wife’s closest friends tie the knot…kind of lol. They had initially planned for last year but…covid. Since they already had their marriage license and it was going to expire, they decided to go to city hall and make it official. Today will be a small ceremony followed by the reception that was supposed to be last year. Should be a lot of fun!

Willie World:
Momma stayed at the bride-to-be’s house last night, so it was just me and Willie man with the kitties. I was cruising the Cadre last night around 11:30 on the front porch when I heard a bit of a ruckus break out down the street. 2 loud bangs and then some trash talk (which I can’t repeat here). About 15 minutes later I see local PD squad car drive past, then a second car. About 10 minutes after that there were 4 cars parked at the corner and they brought out a canine and walked past our house. Willie was not happy about that! I’m not sure if he was protecting his turf or if he wanted to play, but he was crying and barking his head off the entire time. Not sure what ended up happening as the police were gone after about 30 minutes, but I’m sire

Shave Time!

Razor:
Fatboy
Blade: Derby Premium
Brush: Stirling Boar
Soap: Oz Shaving Co. Wicked
AS: Oz Shaving Co. Wicked

Late post for a late afternoon shave. Forgot to mention I’m on vacation this week! Just a stay-cation so not doing anything exciting.

The Stirling Boar continues to be a shedder. Only 3 hairs today, but it’s still shedding. I guess I’ll put up with it since it performs just fine otherwise.

I haven’t used Wicked in a while. It’s a great scent but the AS strength is pretty week. It usually disappears after about 10 minutes, but I guess that makes it good to pair with any EDT after.

In Other News…
Can’t complain about work since I’m not there…although I will be attending a conference call tomorrow afternoon since it pertains directly to my branch. Kinda need to know what’s going on with that one.

I did my first of 2 fantasy football drafts tonight. The wife and I are co-managing this team. She usually does better than me in our other league so maybe she’ll help me win this one. We’ll see.

Willie World:
Willie will be enjoying the extra couch time with both the wife and I off until the 6th. Current status: blanket burrito.
